The question paper of WBJEE Mathematics consists of 75 questions which is further divided into three categories. Category 2 and 3 questions consist of 2 marks for each correct attempt while Category 1 questions consist of 1 mark for each correct attempt. There is a negative marking of 1/2 and 1/4 respectively for Category 1 and 2 questions while there is no negative marking for Category 3.
