As of now, the schedule for only two rounds of counselling has been announced.   1. Log in to the official portal of AIIMS

  2. Choosing an option to either accept the seat, accept with upgradation or decline

  3. Uploading the required documents or submitting them

  4. Paying the admission or confirmation fee within the deadline

  5. Failure to act within this window will result in cancellation of the allotted seat and ineligibility for further rounds.

Note: No new choice filling is allowed in Round 2; allotment is strictly based on previously locked preferences.

After the AIIMS BSc Nursing 2025 round 2 result is out, there are various options available for the students to accept, deny or participate in an open counselling round. Find the details below:

Acceptance of the Allocated Seats

After the selected students accept the online allocated seat, documents/DD need to be submitted to AIIMS New Delhi to confirm the allotted seat. The students whose names appear on the list, their Medical examinations and other admission formalities will be conducted at a physical location designated by AIIMS Delhi. There is no additional charge for the online seat assignment procedure for round 2.

Accept Allocated Seats and Do Not Want to Participate in the Open Round

The students who have reported to the respected AIIMS will not be able to participate in further rounds of AIIMS BSc Nursing counselling . In case the student fails to report within the given time frame mentioned by the counselling conducting body, their admission will stand cancelled and he/she shall become ineligible for participating in all further rounds of Seat Allocation. However, such students will be eligible to participate in the Open Round of Seat Allocation. After the AIIMS BSc Nursing round 2 seat allotment, if the seats remain vacant, then the open round counselling is conducted.

Accept Allocated Seats and Want to Participate in the Open Round

If, in the 2nd Round of AIIMS BSc Nursing seat allocation, a student who has chosen option 2 is allocated another seat as per their choice, then the student must accept the seat allocated in the 2nd Round, and the seat allocated in the 1st Round will be released automatically. Such candidates cannot retain the seat allotted in the 1st Round, and failure to join the seat allocated in the 2nd Round shall lead to the imposition of a penalty of INR 1 lakh.

As the AIIMS BSc nursing round 2 seat allotment results are out online on August 2, 2025. The document can be submitted and seats can be accepted from August 4, 2025, to August 7, 2025.
