Dates for the CUET PG 2023 exams have been released by NTA. The examination will take place between June 1 and June 10, 2023. Registration for CUET-PG 2023 will begin in the middle of March. The CUET UG 2023 exam dates have been made public by NTA. The exam will be given from May 21 to May 31. Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow will hold the counselling for direct admission to the first year of the following programmes offered at AKTU Lucknow for the academic year 2023–2024.

The Technical Education Department has given its approval for the establishment of the Central Admission Board (CAB), which would be presided over by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow's vice-chancellor, to oversee and regulate the counselling sessions being held there. Colleges and institutions affiliated to AKTU Lucknow fall under the purview of the CAB. Through UPTAC-2022, the CAB has the authority to make all decisions relating to behavior and admissions.

DIRECT ADMISSION (LATERAL ENTRY) TO 2nd YEAR OF B.TECH/B.PHARM

For Aktu direct admission (Lateral Entry) to the second year of B.Tech./B.Pharmacy courses in Counseling, candidates who passed the CUET (UG)-2023 test administered by NTA are eligible to register online.

(i) For engineering diploma holders and B.Sc. graduates seeking AKTU admission to the second year of B.Tech. or B. Pharmacy, see subclause

(ii) Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam University (AKTU), Lucknow, requires pharmacy diploma graduates to register online for counselling before the deadline.

(iii) For various first-year programmes, such seats are restricted to a maximum of 10% of the sanctioned intake from the prior year in institutions/colleges.

(iv) There will not be any direct admission to the second year for B.Arch., BHMCT, BFAD, BFA, B. Des, B. Voc, MBA, or MCA programmes.

(v) Candidates who passed their qualifying exams from a state other than Uttar Pradesh and whose parents do not reside in Uttar Pradesh are ineligible for direct admission to the second year of a B.Tech. or B.Pharmacy programme.

AKTU DIRECT ADMISSION TO NON-RESIDENT INDIAN (NRI) CANDIDATES IN FIRST-YEAR

NRI candidates who meet the requirements (clause 3) may get direct admission on merit to 5% of the available seats in government-funded, government-aided, and private institutions, subject to the most recent directives of the government of the state of Uttar Pradesh. In the first week of September 2023, the university website and numerous newspapers will publish detailed information. Candidates seeking admission under this programme are not required to take an entrance exam. However, candidates choosing this option for a B.Arch course must be NATA-2022 qualified.

FIRST-YEAR ADMISSION TO KASHMIRI IMMIGRANTS AND KASHMIRI PANDITS/KASHMIRI HINDU FAMILIES (NON-IMMIGRANTS) LIVING IN KASHMIR VALLEY

According to the most recent directives of the AICTE and orders from the U.P. Government direct admission is to be given to Kashmiri migrants, Kashmiri Pandits, and Kashmiri Hindu Families (Non-Migrants) Living in the Kashmir Valley in the first year of each institute. Such direct admissions are in excess of the authorized number, and they are often restricted to a single admission per AKTU, Lucknow.

How to Apply for AKTU Direct Admission?

As previously stated, the University holds UPSEE to give admission to its courses offered. AKTU typically issues the application form in January of each year. Applicants can check for AKTU admission 2023 by following the steps outlined below:

Step 1: Go to the UPSEE official website (www.upsee.nic.in). Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the application form link for the course to which you want to apply.

Step 2: Now, click on 'New Registration' to begin filling out the application form. After reading or downloading the information brochure, click the 'Click Here to Proceed' button.

Step 3: Register by filling out the form with your personal information and contact information. Create an alpha-numeric password for future logins as well.

Step 4: Fill out the rest of the application form, including your academic credentials. Choose your preferred course, specialism standards, and test centers.

Step 5: Save scanned photos of your most recent passport-size photograph and thumb impression in JPG/JPEG format (up to 50 kb).

Step 6: Submit the application form by paying the prescribed application fee* online using a debit card, credit card, or net banking.
