The West Bengal Student Credit Card Scheme was introduced by the West Bengal board to help poor students get a proper education. Students can pay back their loans once their studies are completed and they get a job.

Education Requirements

Students must have at least a Class 12 pass from a recognised board to qualify for the loan application. They must be enrolled in Class 10 or 12 or higher education in recognized institutions. Students who are taking coaching from institutes for competitive exams like Engineering, Medical, Law, UPSC, PSC, SSC, etc, are also eligible for applications.

Age Limit

There is no minimum age requirements for the West Bengal student credit card scheme. Further, students must not be more than 40 years of age to qualify for the West Bengal credit card scheme.
