IB ACIO Tier 2 Exam 2025: Expected Date, Exam Pattern, Syllabus, Latest Updates

The IB ACIO Tier 2 Exam 2025 dates are not out yet, but will be officially announced soon. It is likely that the Ministry of Home Affairs will conduct the exam in January 2026. The Tier 2 exam is usually held within four to five months after conducting the Tier 1 exam. The Tier 1 exam was held on September 16, September 17 and September 18, 2025.
According to the exam pattern, the Tier 2 test will comprise descriptive questions for 50 marks in total. There will be some questions from the essay section and the rest from the English comprehension section. Apart from these two sections, there will be 2 long questions having ten marks each. IB ACIO Tier 2 Syllabus 2025

The syllabus for IB ACIO Tier 2 Exam 2025 does not have a fixed set of topics. There are three sections in this syllabus for Essay, English Comprehension and Long Questions. IB ACIO Tier 2 Qualifying Marks 2025

All students who are to sit for the IB ACIO Tier 2 Exam 2025 are required to secure at least 33% marks to clear it. The total marks of this exam is 50 and students will be judged based on their performance in answering the descriptive questions. This qualifying percentage is applicable to all student categories with or without any reservation. In the Tier 1 exam, students are required to secure a minimum score of 50% out of 100 marks. The IB ACIO 2025 Interview round is the final stage of selection for the recruited role. This interview will be held at a personal level for each candidate and students will be scrutinized based on their genuine personality, depth of knowledge and suitability for the role. The parameters for selection in the round are personality, communication skills, and subject knowledge. Students will be given a score out of 100 marks.
