Sambalpur University PG Eligibility Criteria 2020

As per the eligibility criteria for PG courses at Sambalpur University, you must have passed any of the bachelor's degree programs having a three-year duration such as Commerce/ Arts/ Law or Science(B.A/ LLB/ B.Com and B.Sc) or any other equivalent examination from UGC recognised University. You will have to score a minimum of 45% aggregate or honours in the relevant subject.

If you have appeared for the final year of examination and waiting for result then you will have to submit the Provisional Certificate and Mark sheet of the qualifying examination within ten days in order to apply for any of degrees. If you failed to submit it, the admission is likely to be cancelled. You must note that you are not eligible for admission to any of the degree except M.Tech if in case you hold any post-graduation/ Certificate or P.G Diploma degree. Choose the program for which you want to apply along with other required documents.
Fill in all the required details mentioned in the application form of the college.
Once done, click on the ‘Submit’ button.
You will be asked to verify all the details submitted by you.
Choose the payment mode that you wish to use for payment.
Once submitted, a pdf file will open which will contain your reference number.

Sambalpur University PG Selection Process 2020

In order to get admission into Sambalpur University for the PG programs, you will have to appear for the university entrance test conducted for various programs. Around 70% of the weightage will be granted to the entrance test while the remaining 30% will include the academic percentage. If you are opting for admission then you must have some experience in the field as 10% of weightage is for the work experience, 30% is for the written test, 30% is for career mark while 30% is for the performance test.

A merit list will be prepared for admission into various courses. The merit list will be prepared according to the marks scored in the entrance test/ career marks/ MAT score/ Experience and Performance Test in Performing Arts. Criteria for selection is provided below.
