Data shows that about 1.8 lakh students opted for Economics in CUET, a clear sign the subject’s appeal hasn’t faded yet. Meanwhile, the All India Survey on Higher Education (AISHE 2023) noted that India’s higher education enrolment reached 4.3 crore, indicating rising interest in several disciplines, including Economics.

Getting admission into LPU is very simple and an easy process. First you have to create an account in admission.lpu.in to fill in your basic details and register. Then you have to take up the entrance exam for LPU, LPUNEST. The score you get in this entrance exam will decide your scholarship which is upto 50%. If you had already given JEE, CAT, CLAT you don't need to attend LPUNEST as LPU accepts those scores too. After a few days you will get the results. Then you pay a little amount as to confirm the seat and proceed with submission …

Yes, if you have 65% in 12th class from a commerce background, this is the only eligibility that LPU asks for. If I talk about fees, LPU costs for B.Com are around 80,000-1,20,000 yearly. However, the final fee becomes less if you get a scholarship based on your 12th grade or through LPUNEST. The last date to apply is the 20th of June, so it is better to apply early and confirm your seat on time.
