History, Affiliations & Ranking
McMaster University is a public research university of Canada which was established in 1887. The university was established in Toronto and was later on relocated to Hamilton, Ontario province of Canada in 1930. Today, the campus covers an area of 121 hectares. It comprises four campuses namely downtown Hamilton, Burlington, Kitchener-Waterloo, and Niagara among which downtown Hamilton is the main campus. The university is ranked as no. 146 according to QS Global World Ranking.

Every year, students from across 113 countries enrol for admission in various courses offered by McMaster University. It has more than 70 research centres and institutions and offers courses under six faculties namely The DeGroote School of Business, Faculty of Engineering, Health Sciences, Humanities, Science, and Social Sciences.
