St. Clair College was founded in 1966 in Ontario with its main campus in Windsor, Ontario. It is a Public College of Applied Arts and Technology. It is affiliated to Ontario College Athletic Association, Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association & Canadian Bureau for International Education. Different courses are also accredited by different bodies such as the Diagnostics Medical Sonography course is accredited through Equal - Accreditation Canada. Webometrics 2020 ranking ranks the college at 113 in Canada.
Infrastructure, Campus & Courses
St. Clair College has a suburban location in WIndsor. It has two more campuses. Western Ontario Institute of Technology and the college of Applied Arts & Technology joined together to form St. Clair College of Applied arts and technology. Besides its main campus in Windsor, St. Clair college has its other two campuses in Chatham and Downtown. College has lately built Sportsplex, a new sports complex and contributing a lot for the development of Ontario. Campuses are very peaceful & safe. Canada is a home to many and over 100 languages are spoken here. This college has over 100 programs to offer for degree and postgraduate level in Liberal arts, Sciences, Applied Technology, health Sciences, Business and IT, Engineering, media & design.
Achievements & Alumni
Athletes from St. Clair College have been praised by Ontario colleges’ Athletic association for academics and 47 students have got OCAA All-Academic awards for the 2019 fall semester. Since 1967, college has had many alumni who have made great contributions to the country. Some of them are Marta Stepien, Rick Nicholls, Paul S Morton, Tracey Ramsey, Ray Tanguay, Bryce Sweeting and Henry Lau.
Student diversity & Visiting Companies
Over 1,100 international students are admitted each year and they have the choice to choose many services and support in academics, career counselling & accommodation. Many companies visit the career fair conducted by college for placements of graduates from the college. Some of them are Active Care Management, Aecon Group Inc, Amica Riverside (Windsor), Amico Infrastructure Inc., Canada Revenue Agency, Canadian Executive Search Group, Design Systems Canada Ltd, Douglas Marketing Group, Fortis Construction Group Inc., HUB International, London Health Sciences Centre, PepsiCo Foods Canada, Vista Solutions Inc, and VON Windsor-Essex.
