Assam University Admission 2024 - Dates, Form, Online Process, Fees

Assam University Admission process 2024 is open for various courses. JEE Main 2024 will be needed for Assam Univeristy B.Tech admission. JEE Main 2024 session two exams have ended, and NTA has released the results. Students can download their scorecard by using their application number, date of birth, and security pin on the NTA website. For BTech admission, students need to register for JoSAA counselling which will commence from June 10, 2024.

Assam University M.Tech admission process is based on the Entrance Examination conducted by the respective department. 

Assam University Eligibility Criteria for PhD 

Candidates must have a PG degree with at least 55% and the candidates belonging to the reserved category should have at least 50% marks to be eligible for admission to the Assam University PhD programme. 

Assam University PhD Selection Process

Assam University Selection process for PhD programme is based on Research Entrance Test (RET) conducted by the university itself. The test consists of a written test and an interview. The university will prepare a merit list based on the performance of the students in RET where 70% weightage will be given to the student's performance in the written test and 30% in the interview. 

Assam University MBA Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Assam University eligibility criteria for admission to the MBA programme, aspiring students must have a bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 60% marks (55% for reserved category students). They should also have the required Assam University cut off score for CAT, XAT, CMAT, CUCET or Written Skill Assessment Test (WSAT) conducted by the Department of Business Department of the university.

Candidates will be selected based on their performance in the entrance examination for the next round of admission which is Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). Assam University M.Sc Eligibility Criteria

Assam University eligibility criteria for admission to the M.Sc programme is to have a bachelor's degree in the respective subject from a recognised university. Though students should have minimum marks for admission to some of the programmes mentioned below.

Selection of candidates is based on the candidate's score in the qualifying examination and performance in the Assam University Entrance Test or as per criteria laid out by the central admission committee of the university.

Candidates belonging to the unreserved category should have passed Class 12 with at least 50% marks and 45% marks in English as a subject. For candidates belonging to reserved categories, the rules of UGC, GOI, BCI and AUS whichever is applicable, will be followed.

Assam University BVA Eligibility Criteria

Interested students who have passed Class 12 with at least 45% marks in aggregate qualify for the Assam University eligibility criteria for admission to the BVA programme.

Assam University's eligibility criteria for admission to Bachelor of Performing Arts (BPA) is to pass Class 12 with at least 40% marks.

Aspiring students should have a minimum of 45% marks in Bachelor's degree in any discipline to qualify for the Assam University eligibility criteria for admission to Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science (PGDCA) programme.
