Assam University M.Tech admission process is based on the Entrance Examination conducted by the respective department.
Candidates must have a PG degree with at least 55% and the candidates belonging to the reserved category should have at least 50% marks to be eligible for admission to the Assam University PhD programme.
Assam University Selection process for PhD programme is based on Research Entrance Test (RET) conducted by the university itself. The test consists of a written test and an interview. The university will prepare a merit list based on the performance of the students in RET where 70% weightage will be given to the student's performance in the written test and 30% in the interview.
To qualify for the Assam University eligibility criteria for admission to the MBA programme, aspiring students must have a bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 60% marks (55% for reserved category students). Assam University eligibility criteria for admission to the M.Sc programme is to have a bachelor's degree in the respective subject from a recognised university. Though students should have minimum marks for admission to some of the programmes mentioned below.
