NMIMS Mumbai Admission 2023 - Process, Fees, Eligibility, Dates

NMIMS Mumbai Admissions 2023: NMIMS NPAT 2023 exam commences from January 4, 2023. Registered candidates must follow all reporting instructions to appear in the exam. CLAT 2023 window for grievance against final answer key is open now. CLAT 2023 grievance window will close on December 29, 2022. CLAT 2023 result was declared on December 23, 2022. NMIMS Mumbai admission process 2023-24 has concluded for multiple courses. The institute offers UG, PG, doctorate, integrated, and diploma programmes across variegated streams. Generally, admissions to Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies Mumbai is done on the basis of an in-house entrance test and personal interview if the candidate matches the requisite NMIMS Mumbai eligibility criteria. 

Unlike most of the institutes, students can take admission to NMIMS B. Tech courses after completing their class 10. NMIMS Mumbai MBA, BBA, B. Tech, B. Com. M. Tech, BA,LLB are some of the most sought-after programmes. Admission to Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies Mumbai UG courses is done through:

• NMIMS-NPAT for commerce, economics, liberal arts, branding and advertising, liberal arts, international studies and management streams. 
• NMIMS-CET for engineering and pharmacy streams.

Note: However, if seats are left vacant even after the NMIMS Mumbai merit list is prepared according to the NMIMS Mumbai entrance exam scores, direct admission can be accepted on the basis of performance in previous course or class. NMIMS CET scores are also eligible for MBA Tech exam as well which is a PG course. 

NMIMS Mumbai PG admission procedure varies according to the course. For instance, NMIMS-NMAT by GMAC, GMAT, SAT, and ACT scores are accepted for Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies Mumbai MBA admission. NMIMS Mumbai M.Tech admissions are done on the basis of the merit list according to the performance in the personal interview conducted by the college. Initial Registration

• Visit the official website of NMIMS Mumbai through www.nmims.edu / www.npat.in / www.nmimscet.in / www.nmimslat.in
• After recahing the page, click on ‘Apply Now’ button at the right side of the website. 
• Create an account by filling the details in the NMIMS Mumbai application form.
• Candidates will receive their registration number on their registered email id to fill and complete the application form. 

Selection of Courses

• The students are advised to go through the eligibility criteria and select entrance tests i.e., NMIMS-NPAT, NMIMS-CET, NMIMS-LAT, or select school or programme.
• Candidates can select multiple entrances or multiple schools and programmes as per the criteria. 

Payment of Application Fee

• The registration fee for different schools and entrance tests will be different depending on the number of attempts a student has taken to clear the exam. The fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. 
• Candidates who have paid the registration fee will be allowed to take the NMIMS Mumbai entrance exam. 
• A candidate can appear three times i.e., one main and two retakes, for each of the exam category. In other words, a student can take multiple NMIMS entrance exams three times each. The registration fee according to the course and retakes is given as follows:

Selection of Test Center and Dates

• After the student is registered successfully, the candidates may choose the exam center date on which they wish to take the examination.
• The availability of dates and seats at the exam center will be available according to their capacity as they are allotted on a first come and first serve basis. 
• The candidates must schedule their examination as soon as they receive communication from the institute about the same. The highest marks received according to the retakes will be considered for the merit list. 
• The next exam can be taken 20 days from his main or second attempt. A student cannot change or add the entrance test, school or programme after the payment of the NMIMS Mumbai application fee. 

Admit Card and Exam

• Admit card is generated after the student chooses the date and time of the exam which can be downloaded from the student dashboard. The student may take the exam post which results are released.

In a Nutshell: To start the NMIMS Mumbai admission process, candidates are required to register according to the course, select one or multiple entrance tests, pay the NMIMS application fee, and select the center and take the exam. After the results, students who have qualified for the entrance are called for a personal interview (if applicable according to the course). NMIMS Mumbai Selection Process 2023

• Candidates are required to update the class 12 or equivalent marks on the NMIMS Mumbai official website according to the eligibility criteria as it will be considered for preparing the emrit list. 
• NMIMS Mumbai Merit list will be prepared on the basis of NMIMS-NPAT, NMIMS-CET, NMIMS-LAT exam and information entered by the candidate. 
• For Engineering: Candidates will be called for counselling as per marks obtained and information provided.

The students may complete the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies Mumbai admission process after paying the NMIMS Mumbai fees. However, NMIMS Mumbai B.Des admission process is a little different.

NMIMS Mumbai B.Des Admission Process

NMIMS Mumbai School of Design offers a 4-year Bachelor of Design course through NMIMS DAT (Design Aptitude Test). The procedure is as follows:

• Visit www.nmims.edu for online registration to start NMIMS Mumbai admission process to B.Des  and pay the registration fee. 
• Candidates may download the call letter for the offline Studio Test.
• Studio Test conducted in offline mode as the first step. 
• Submission of student portfolio in hardcopy is done after the test. It is to be carried by the student to the personal interview room. 
• Personal interview (PI).
• Preparation of merit list on the consideration of performance in PI and portfolio submission. Guidelines for preparing the portfolio can be accessed from here. 
• Candidate who has qualified UCEED and has a valid UCEED score by the end of date of registration is exempted from studio test but they have to appear for PI with their portfolio. 
• Candidates who have completed more than 25 years of age are not eligible. 

NMIMS Mumbai MBA admission 2023 will be done through NMAT by GMAC entrance exam. Students may visit ‘www.nmat.org' for registration. Students may apply for multiple programmes and campuses. The registration process for NMAT 2022 ended on15 December 2022. Candidates may appear for the main exam after NMAT 2023 admit card is released. Selection will be done on the basis of NMAT cut off 2023. Candidates may reappear for NMAT but reapplication scores are not considered for the selection process. NMIMS Mumbai MBA Application Process 2023

Step 1: Registration for NMAT by GMAC

• Visit www.nmat.org and register for NMAT 2023 by paying the registration fee. Keep record of registration number so provided. 

STEP 2: Taking NMAT by GMAC Test

• After registration, students will have to take NMAT 2023 entrance test before proceeding with NMIMS Mumbai NMAT application 2023. 
• The score of NMAT is submitted by GMAC to NMIMS. 

STEP 3: Psychometric Test and Personal Interview

• Shortlisting of candidates will be done on the basis of NMAT total and sectional score. The call letter will be displayed on the candidate’s dashboard. 
• NMIMS Mumbai may call students for a written psychometric test or written analysis test in addition to personal interview. 
• This whole process is offline and students are advised to carry their NMAT by GMAC score card while they appear for this test. 

STEP 4: Registration at NMIMS Website after NMAT 

• Visit www.nmims.edu and apply for admission with the registration number provided by GMAC. Candidates are required to fill minimum five programme preferences at the time of application. However, the the final preference is considered for admission which is filled at the time of shortlisting after the NMIMS Mumbai cut off is released. 
• Next step is to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs 2600 to complete the NMIMS Mumbai application process 2023. 
• A PDF of the application form is generated on the dashboard which should be checked by the candidate. 

STEP 5: Merit List

• The preparation of merit list will be done on the basis of:

• Academic marks
• Work experience, if any
• NMAT by GMAC score card
• Marks obtained in subsequent offline tests and PI

Admission into M.tech courses will be done according to the GATE, SAT and ACT scores. 

NMIMS Mumbai M.Tech Admissions Eligibility Ceriteria 

For M.Tech

Candidate must have achieved 50% aggregate in all semesters in B.tech programme and students having a valid GATE score will be preferred. 

For M.Tech in Data Science or Artificial Intelligence

Candidate must have achieved 60% aggregate marks or CGPA> 3.0/4 in B.tech in all streams or M.Sc. maths, statistics, computer sciences, IT, electronics or AMIE or any other equivalent UGC approved qualification for M.Tech.
