Selection Process
Step 1: Students Scoring Eligible Percentage will have to give Written Test organised by TIS.
Step 2: Students have to attach Documents provided below while filling the application form:
Caste Certificate for SC/ST
Non-creamy Layer Certificate for OBC
Certificate of Disability for Person with Disability (PWD)
Income Certificate for SC/ST/OBC(NC) candidates.
One stamp size photograph.
Step 3: Students qualifying the TISSNET Exam will be called for Pre-Interview Test followed by Group Discussion Round.
Step 4: Selected Students will be called for Personal Interview Round.
Step 5: Final Selection will be based on Merit, prepared by NET – 40 %; Pre-Interview Test – 30 %; Personal Interview – 30%.
Note: Candidates who do not bring the aforesaid certificates in original shall not be allowed to appear for
the interview.

TISS, Mumbai M.Phil Eligibilty Criteria
TISS has its own selection procedure and entrance exam basis which candidates are shortlisted. Following are the exams that a candidate is required to clear in order to take admission:

There are two phases of selection process where the candidate is evaluated on the basis of his performance in RAT and personal assessment. Apart from this, the institute may also take into consideration the previous academic record of a candidate. Check out the selection process of TISS below:
