Time Table Management:Six months is a good amount of time to excel in TISSNET, provided you are honest and dedicated to achieving your goal. Keeping your weaknesses and strengths in mind, you should create a timetable to devote time to each subject.
Important Key Concepts: Candidates appearing for TISSNET should know that not all topics carry equal weightage of marks. Some subjects carry more marks, while others questions don’t. It is recommended to devote more time to such important topics.
Allocate more time to GK. If you do not prepare well for GK, it will be difficult for you to crack TISSNET and PIT (Pre-Interview Test).
Make a habit of reading the newspaper daily for social, political and your syllabus relevant news. Reading news also means that you will not have to prepare separately for Reading Comprehension.
It is indeed important for you to clear your concepts and have a proper understanding of each topic/chapter. Also, to keep your preparation on track, you must also make notes while studying for the exam.
Take more and more mock tests to check your preparation level. Analyse every mock that you take and take it as an example to work on your weak areas.
The more you solve the previous year question papers, the better understanding you get about attempting the final exam. Solving previous year question papers will not only give you an insight about the exam but will also make you confident on the day of the exam. Previous year question papers will also give you an idea of the frequent questions asked in the exam from various topics.
By solving sample papers, you will know the existing pattern and have a fair idea of the type of questions that come in the paper along with the time constraint.
The revision will help your recall all the topics studied along with grasping new concepts.
Visually challenged candidates appearing for the test must bring their writers along with them.
