Dear Student,

To secure admission in the MCA - Cyber Security program at Ajeenkya DY Patil University (ADYPU), you must appear for the ADYPU Common Entrance Test (ACET)—MHT CET is not accepted. Eligibility requires a bachelor’s degree (50% marks) with Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Science at 10+2 or graduation level. The selection process involves clearing ACET followed by a personal interview. While national exams like CUET PG or NIMCET may sometimes be considered, ACET remains the primary requirement. To proceed, register for ACET on ADYPU’s website and prepare for its quantitative, logical, and verbal sections. We hope that we have answered your query successfully. All the best for your great future!

Dear student,

Ajeenkya DY Patil University offers B.Tech in Bioinformatics and Data Science, in which physics, chemistry and mathematics are compulsory subjects. So if you have completed class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) subjects, you would not be eligible for this course. However, the university does offer B.Sc in Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, in which the eligibility criteria require the candidates to have passed with PCB/M. So this B.Sc programme at Ajeenkya DY Patil University could be a suitable alternative for you.

Dear Harshal,

With a 52 percentile in MHT-CET, it is unlikely that you will get a seat in the Software Engineering branch at Ajeenkya DY Patil University through the merit-based round. The cutoff for Software Engineering in Ajeenkya DY Patil University, Loni Campus, for the general category in the merit-based round was 80 percentile. The cutoff for the same branch in the management quota was 50 per cent. However, you can still try for a seat in the Software Engineering branch through the management quota. The college management fills up the management quota seats based on a variety of factors, including the candidate's MHT-CET score, academic performance, and interview performance.

Dear student,

COEA and JSPM Tathawade are both good engineering colleges in Maharashtra. However, COEA has a slight edge in terms of infrastructure, faculty, and placement records. COEA is a better choice for students who want to pursue a B.Tech in IT.
