BITSAT 2026 April 16 Question Paper Analysis

The BITSAT 2026 April 16 question paper analysis includes subject-wise difficulty level, section weightage, important topics, and shift-wise insights for Shift 1 and Shift 2. April 16 was the final day of BITSAT 2026 Session 1, which ran from April 15–16, 2026. Based on actual student reactions, Shift 1 was manageable but time-consuming, while Shift 2 was the toughest shift of Session 1. The paper covered four sections, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English Proficiency & Logical Reasoning. Chemistry difficulty varied drastically between shifts, easy in Shift 1 but the hardest section in Shift 2. Speed and accuracy remained the deciding factors across both shifts. What To Do After BITSAT 2026 April 16 Exam?

After the exam, you should not wait till the official results are declared to make plans ahead.

  • Estimate Your Score: The unofficial answer key can be used to estimate your score. Mark it according to the marking scheme +3 per correct answer and -1 per incorrect attempt.

  • Compare Your Attempts: Compare your attempts to the good attempts data above. With the accuracy being good and the attempts being more or less in the 100-120 band, then you stand a chance of being competitive in the BITS Pilani campuses in Goa and Hyderabad.

  • Make a decision about Session 2: Do not be discouraged by your attempt on April 16 if it did not turn out as expected. Candidates may attend either or both sessions of BITSAT 2026 and the score of the better of the two attempts will be used. BITSAT 2026 Session 2 will be held between May 24 to 26, 2026 and the registration will start on April 20, 2026, you have a lot of time to prepare and take the test again.
