The Tamil Nadu Open University campus is set in the middle of the city and offers a pleasing environment. The TNOU Infrastructure is another aspect that enhances the ambience of the campus. It is a hi-tech, clean campus that can attract any student. Many facilities are provided to students and teachers to excel in development because the institute understands it is the place where students and teachers spend half of their time, so availing of the latest facilities is of utmost importance. The facilities available at Tamil Nadu Open University include:

• CEMPR: The motto behind establishing the Electronic Media Production and Research Centre is “Reaching the Unreached”. The centre produces high-quality audio/visual programmes and develops multi-media content. Through the following measures, self-learning material is converted into video lessons that will help the students better understand. The centre also conducts lectures through video conferencing, which will help to clear the doubts at the same time & understand the topic thoroughly. 
• Library: The TNAU library serves the information-oriented needs of students learning through the distance-education program, faculties, and research scholars enrolled in TNOU. Access to library resources is possible through OPAC. The library has a collection of 25780 books and works intending to build a collection of  1,00,000 Books. 
• Laboratories: Modern equipment and the latest technologies are availed in the infrastructure of Tamil Nadu Open University. The laboratories provide a platform for students to explore and gain more knowledge.
• Auditorium: The TNOU campus has a posh auditorium where most of the ceremonies and seminars workshops are held. 
• Help Desk: The help desk of the TNOU campus acts as a single point of contact for learners and university stakeholders, which assists in solving academic and other problems. Candidates with any doubt can approach the help desk, and it functions on all working days from morning 8:00 AM to evening 8:00 PM on the first floor of the university's administration block.

CCTV and Water Plant are the other TNOU facilities available at the campus for students' welfare.
