IIT Kharagpur invites applications for Law and Public Policy Programmes 2026: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur invites online applications for its specialised law and public policy courses for the 2026 academic year. Interested candidates can apply for the LLB (Honours in Intellectual Property Law), LLM and Master’s in Public Policy, Law and Governance (MPPLG) from the official portals of IIT Kharagpur. Deadline for application submission is February 20, 2026. 

IIT Placements 2025-26: IIT Placements for the year 2025-2026 will be conducted in two phases for all the IITs. Usually, the first phase began around December and the second phase from February to May. IIT Bombay reported an average package of approximately INR 36.9 LPA, with sectors like technology, finance, and consulting dominating recruitment. IIT Indore recorded an average salary of around INR 23.50 LPA, with top-performing BTech branches like Computer Science Engineering and Electrical Engineering having the highest averages. IIT Kharagpur recorded a Domestic Highest Package of INR 1 Crore with top recruiters like  Apple, Texas Instruments, Goldman Sachs, Uber, and Schlumberger. IIT Delhi is recorded to have offered the highest package of INR 1 Crore Per Annum at the domestic level, with more than 50 offers above INR 1 crore. Some of the top recruiters of the Top IITs in India are Microsoft, Google, Apple, Schlumberger, Qualcomm, Amazon, Flipkart, ISRO, American Express, Boston Consulting Group, Intel, etc. 

IIT Kharagpur to Provide Admission to B.Tech. without JEE Score from 2026: In a major step towards providing more access to the world-class education facilities in IIT, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur is planning to bring in new mode for admission to its B.Tech courses from the academic session 2026-27 making the remarkable, students eligible for admission even without JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) scores.

The National Institutional Ranking Framework released the NIRF rankings for the year 2025 on September 4, on the official website, nirfindia.org. In the overall category, 17 Indian Institue of Technology (s) have made it to the list of top IIT colleges; IIT Roorkee moved up to 7th position, and IIT Indore moved up 6 places from 33rd to 27th position this year. TANCET 2026 Notification Release Date: The TANCET notification 2026 will be released anytime soon, on the official website- tancet.annauniv.edu. Candidates who are planning to pursue an MBA or MCA course, candidates should appear for the TANCET 2026 exam. As per the experts, the TANCET 2026 exam notification will likely be released in the third week or fourth week of January 2026. For getting the latest updates, the candidates are advised to constantly check the official website of TANCET. Based on the previous years’ trends, it is expected that the TANCET exam 2026 will be conducted tentatively in the second or Third week of March 2026.

Students gearing up for the Amrita Engineering Entrance Examination (AEEE) 2026 should know which topics to focus on in Physics, how many questions to expect from key chapters, and how to prepare them smartly. The syllabus emphasizes on key Physics topics from NCERT 11th and 12th curriculum. COMEDK UGET 2026 Examination: The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has announced the date for the COMEDK UGET 2026 examination, providing much-needed relief to engineering students across the country. This examination is scheduled to take place on May 9, 2026, and is one of the most crucial pathways for engineering students to gain entry into the country’s premier engineering colleges across the state of Karnataka. COMEDK will conduct the examination online in a computer-based mode. The registration process for the examination will soon be initiated on the official website, requiring students to enter basic information, upload documents, and pay the requisite fees to complete the application process.

WBJEE Application Form 2026: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) is expected to release the application form for WBJEE 2026 in either the third or fourth week of January 2026. Though no official notice has yet been released by the board, based on the previous years' trends, it is expected that the process of registration for WBJEE 2026 could start anywhere between January 16 to January 26 in 2026.

The list of government engineering colleges accepting JEE Main 2026 for admission includes NITs, IIITs, MNNIT Allahabad, and PEC Chandigarh, among others. They are the top-ranking institutions deemed for quality education with affordable fee structures and high placement opportunities. However, the admission process is very competitive in these colleges, and only the top-performing candidates in the JEE Main 2026 exam are likely to be eligible for selection.
