WB Govt. Appoints IIT Kharagpur to prepare Safety SoP for Durga Puja: With UNESCO’s recognition serving as a catalyst, Durga Puja—the grandest public art celebration in the world—is preparing to take a transformative step towards inclusivity and safety. Determined to make the festival not only magnificent but also accessible to all, the West Bengal government has appointed IIT Kharagpur to design detailed accessibility frameworks along with a Safety Standard Operating Procedure tailored specifically for the Puja festivities.

BSF and IIT Khargapur Collaborate to Develop Indigenous Drones: The Border Security Force (BSF) has partnered with the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IIT-K) to develop advanced drone technologies. This collaboration aims to enhance the BSF's capabilities in drone forensics, counter-unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) technology, research and development, and training. The agreement was signed by BSF's Inspector General (ICT), Maninder Pratap Singh Pawar, and IIT-K's Dean of Research and Development, Prof Tarun Gupta, in the presence of BSF Director General Daljit Singh Chawdhary.

IIT Placements 2024-25: IIT Placements for the year 2024-2025 have been conducted in two phases for all the IITs. Usually, the first phase began around December and the second phase from February to May. IIT Bombay reported an average package of approximately INR 36.9 LPA, with sectors like technology, finance, and consulting dominating recruitment. IIT Indore recorded an average salary of around INR 23.50 LPA, with top-performing BTech branches like Computer Science Engineering and Electrical Engineering having the highest averages. IIT Kharagpur recorded a Domestic Highest Package of INR 1 Crore with top recruiters like  Apple, Texas Instruments, Goldman Sachs, Uber, and Schlumberger. IIT Delhi is recorded to have offered the highest package of INR 1 Crore Per Annum at the domestic level, with more than 50 offers above INR 1 crore. IIT Kharagpur's IEEE Computer Society Student Branch Chapter is offering a remote internship in AI and ML as part of its Summer Internship Programme 2025. IIT Kharagpur GATE Cutoff 2025 - The Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur will commence the IIT KGP M.Tech admissions soon. IIT Kharagpur MTech admission will be done through a GATE score followed by COAP counselling. The IIT Kharagpur GATE 2025 cutoff will be released during the COAP counselling process at the IIT Kharagpur official website; iitkgp.ac.in. The IIT Kharagpur GATE cutoff 2025 is the minimum mark students must score to get admission at IIT Kharagpur. These are admission cutoffs that are released by respective participating colleges. AP PGECET 2025 Web Options: Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has commenced the AP PGECET 2025 web options today, i.e., on September 10, 2025. The qualified candidates can opt for their preferred colleges and courses for admission in Postgraduate Engineering/Pharmacy as per the schedule. Candidates have to log in to the official counselling portal with their login credentials- hall ticket number, date of birth, and password to get access to the options entry. Candidates can choose colleges, rank them by preference, and keep that final list locked as of or before September 14, 2025. A modification window will be available on September 15 to make any corrections or changes. The provisional seat allotment will be published on September 26, 2025, and the students selected in the seat allotment will have to report to their allotted colleges by September 29, 2025, to confirm their admission.

KCET Third Round Seat Allotment 2025: The Karnataka Examinations Authority will shortly announce KCET Third Round Seat Allotment 2025. While the precise date and time of the announcement remain undisclosed, historical trends suggest it will likely occur between September 10 and September 12, 2025, potentially during late evening or early morning hours. Candidates can verify their seat allotment status by accessing it from cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. Upon logging in with their application number and password, they will be able to view and download their seat allotment details in PDF format for later access.

GATE DA 2026: The GATE Data Science and Artificial Intelligence exam 2026 will be conducted by IIT Guwahati. The subject-wise exam date is yet to be announced by the authority. However, as per the official GATE 2026 exam schedule, the paper will be held on any of the following dates: February 7, 8, 14 or 15, 2026. The complete GATE DA exam syllabus 2026 includes a total of 7 topics, namely Probability and Statistics, Calculus and Optimization, Programming, Data Structures and Algorithms etc. IIT Guwahati will release the master question paper a few days after the conclusion of the GATE 2026 exam. AP PGECET Web Options 2025 Link to be Activated Today: The Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, is planning to activate the web options link for AP PGECET 2025 Counselling today, on September 10. The window for exercising web options will open on September 10 and continue until September 14. All options must be locked or “frozen” by September 14, after which no further modifications will be permitted. Eligible participants must log on to the official portal (pgecet-sche1.aptonline.in), complete the registration with their hall ticket and DOB. After locking the options, the web options can be modified by the aspirants only on September 15, 2025.

COMEDK Architecture Round 1 Seat Allotment Result 2025 (Releasing Today): Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) will be releasing COMEDK Architecture Round 1 Seat Allotment Result 2025 today, September 10, at 3 PM. Candidates can access the first seat allocations on the official COMEDK website- comedk.org.
