The admissions process has been started for session 2024 and the eligibility rriteria to be eligible, candidates must achieve a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in their 10+2 examination, with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, and English as subjects. Alternatively, they can qualify through the JEE Mains, LPUNEST, or CUET exams. However, if a candidate has not studied English as a subject, the requirement for English may be waived off if the candidate has studied in English medium in their qualifying exam. There is a 5% relaxation in aggregate marks for candidates from North-East states, Sikkim, or for Defence Personnel and their Dependents, as well as Wards of Kashmiri Migrants. LPUNEST will not be required if the candidate's JEE Mains Percentile is equal to or above 80 Percentile. Dear student, The IIT Kharagpur does offer Joint MSc PhD Programmes in Molecular Medical Microbiology, Medical Physics, and Nuclear Medicine. These courses are offered under the Head School of Medical Science and Technology. Currently, the Medical Physics and Nuclear Medicine courses at IIT Kharagpur are paused because the courses have pending Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB) approval.

I have got the option of the Agriculture Department in IIT Kharagpur. I want to know it's scope in practical life and the average package students get after graduating in this department.

Yes, the students at IIT Kharagpur are offered good placement opportunities with very good salary packages. As of 2019, more than 1275 job offers were made to the students at IIT Kharagpur, constituting a total of 92 companies that visited the campus for placement. The average CTC was 30 LPA that was offered to the students.
