Cochin University of Science and Technology B.Tech in Civil Engineering Eligibility Criteria
To pursue a B.Tech. (Bachelor of Technology) degree at Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) in Kochi, India, aspiring candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria. Applicants must have passed their Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. They should have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in these subjects combined. Additionally, candidates must have a valid score in the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by CUSAT or the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Reserved category candidates may have relaxation in terms of marks and eligibility criteria as per government regulations.

PlacementInfrastructureFacultyHostelPlacement As I'm a 1st year student,I don't have much knowledge about the placement part.From what I've heard In SOE,When it comes to placements,Fire and safety takes the crown.Followed by CSE,EC,IT etc.Many bug companies comes here to hire top candidates.As for CE,there's placements but compared to Cs and fire safety dep is less.
Infrastructure When it comes to infrastructure of cusat,Most of them are very accessible.Theres University hostels, private hostels,pg, apartment etc for student accommodation all over university campus area.Theres shops for daily items Many cafes and restaurants.Autos,Uber,metro,bus everything is also easily accessible.Theres lot of places to enjoy with friends,or chill alone to take a break from all the chaos.So overall the infrastructure is pretty nice.
Faculty The faculty at civil engineering department of School of engineering Cusat is nice.Its not great but still Nice.All the faculty members are hardworking.Not all of them are good at what they are doing but still most them teaches nicely
Hostel There's university Hostels for students also different prvt hostels, apartments or pgs all over the campus.To get into University hostels you have to apply and get allotment.University Hostels are comparatively nice but not all students get it so the rest accomodate in other private hostels and apartments.These private hostels can be good or can be bad you have to check before choosing one.

OverallOverall Review about the college and university
Overall I joined Cusat with very high expectations but the reality was quite opposite of it.University Campus is nice but Soe is not that great.Good points are the teaching syllabus is very good,There's lots of clubs and other activities you can involve to improve yourself also make your resume look good.Everything you need is available in the campus you just have to seek and use them.As there is a near metro station, travelling is also easy.Now for the negative part,Theres not much of fests conducted as I thought they would.My Campus life is not going that great.The schedules can be hectic sometimes,but it's alright most times.
