Cochin University of Science and Technology Campus Facilities - Hostel Fees, Infrastructure, Address

Cochin University of Science and Technology has three campuses, all located in or around Cochin city only. The main campus is 1.5 km away from National Highway 47 in South Kalamassery. The other two campuses are the lakeside campus which is at a distance of 12 km from the main campus, and the Pulincunnu campus located in the Alappuzha district which is at a distance of around 65 km from the main campus.

The Lakeside Campus is dedicated to the studies and research related to Ocean Science and Technology, fisheries, atmospheric sciences, marine sciences, etc whereas Pulincunnu Campus is home to the Cochin University College of Engineering Kuttanad (CUCEK), and the Cochin University College of Computer Applications (CUCCA).

The main campus of CUSAT is spread over the area of 180 acres which holds Administrative office, Central Library, Computer center, departments, labs, workshops, school of engineering, canteens, guest house, hostels, playgrounds, etc.CUSAT infrastructure is first-class and has beautiful buildings. The administrative office coordinates all the activities of the departments and affiliated colleges.CUSAT campus facilities like Sports where the university focuses on physical education. Sports facilities include Cricket, Volleyball, Basketball, Table Tennis, etc. Various sports events are conducted in the campus where the participation of colleges from different parts of the state takes place.

CUSAT hostel facility is available for both boys and girls, where approximately 600 boys and 700 girls students’ accommodation available for UG, PG students. Hostel rooms design like students feels like home and main focus that without any problems students focus on their academics. Canteen facilities are also available for students where provide healthy meals. CUSAT library which serves all the academic needs of students, scholars and faculty members has a large collection of academic resources. In present, the library at CUSAT has a collection of around 95000 books including reference books, doctoral thesis, etc.

CUSAT transportation facilities are available for both staff and students with full safety. Other facilities like computer labs, well equipped and regular maintenance by the professionals. Overall CUSAT campus life is outstanding with plentiful facilities and services.

Hostel accommodation for around 600 male and 700 female students is available for Undergraduate/ Postgraduate / Research students.
