Department Of Business Administration - Tezpur University offers admission in the MBA and Master of Tourism and Travel Management(MTTM) programs for the upcoming academic session. Candidates looking for admission at DBA, Tezpur University must check the eligibility criteria and admission process. Admission to the MBA course at the Department of Business Administration will be done on the basis of scores in the qualifying examination and performance in the personal interview and entrance exam. While admission for the MTTM Program will totally be based on candidates individual scores in the qualifying degree.

Candidate must have cleared a bachelor's degree in any discipline from any of the recognised Indian with at least 50% marks in aggregate or major subjects. However, candidates from the reserved category requirer 45 percent aggregate.

Besides this, applying candidates must have appeared for any of the management entrance exams including MAT/ XAT/ CAT/ ATMA/ GMAT/ CMAT exams.

DBA Tezpur University MBA Application Process 2020

Candidates seeking admission need to fill the application form after visiting the official website of the college. Before filling the application form, candidates must go through all the important information mentioned on the cover of the information booklet. Once done, they may proceed to fill all the required information in the application form. The application fee decided by the college is INR 500(for reserved categories) and INR 1000(for general candidates) which the candidates have to pay while submitting the completely filled application form. The payment can be done through any of the payment methods including Debit card/ Credit card or Net Banking. Bank charges will be extra. The application fee once submitted will not be refunded. Candidates need to attach some documents while submitting the application form including Scorecard of MAT/ XAT/ CAT/ ATMA/ GMAT/ CMAT and scanned copy of passport size photograph and signature. 

It must be noted that the candidates will have to submit the original documents along with the self-attested copy of the required documents while going for an interview as a proof of originality of submitted documents. The original documents will later be returned to the candidates after verification.

DBA MBA Selection Process 2020

Candidates who have applied for the program need to appear for any of the management entrance exams including MAT/ XAT/ CAT/ ATMA/ GMAT/ CMAT. The scorecard must be submitted before the last date. Candidates will then be selected on the basis of scores in the entrance exam for a personal interview, Group Discussion, Micro presentation interview. The interview will be conducted at the university campus at Napaam, Tezpur.  Candidates will have to report to the center on the date decided by the college for personal interaction round. The final selection list will be prepared on the basis of candidate performance in personal interaction, scores in the entrance exam, extracurricular activities and work experience. Selected candidates will be notified on the official website. Once selected, candidates may proceed to submit the annual fee for the first year.

DBA Tezpur University Master of Tourism and Travel Management (MTTM) Eligibility Criteria 2020

Candidates must have cleared a bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum fo 45% aggregate in honors/ major. Besides this, candidates belonging from any of the reserved categories must have a minimum aggregate of 40%. Other candidates who don’t have major/honors must have at least 50% marks in aggregates (45% for SC/ST/PWD).

The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of performance in personal interaction and academic percentage.
