Deshbandhu College Admission 2023

The Deshbandhu College admission 2023 will be based on the results of the CUET 2023 entrance exam for undergraduate courses. For seat allocation, candidates must use the CSAS 2023 application form on the admission.uod.ac.in website. The CUET UG 2023 application number and the application fee are mandatory for the submission of the form.

For seat allocation and admission, all colleges affiliated with Delhi University will use the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS 2023). Here, a seat is given to a candidate. If he declines this seat he will then will not be able to take part in the next seat allocation rounds. It will also mean that he has rejected the provisionally assigned seat. There will be at least four rounds of seat allocation for the CUET UG 2023 admissions process, with a possibility of five or six as well as some special rounds.

There are three phases to the CSAS 2023:

  • The University of Delhi application.
  • Completing the program's necessary forms and information.
  • Admission to the college and the assignment of seats.

The Deshbandhu College admission process is as per the guidelines of Delhi University. For admission to this college, the students first have to register themselves on the official website of DU. There is scope for admission for foreign students as well in Deshbandhu College under the Foreign National Quota. The candidates in these cases get admission through the Office of Foreign Students Advisor, in accordance with the directive of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.

Dear Nandini

Admission to Deshbandhu College is no longer based on the class 12 percentage obtained by aspiring candidates. For undergraduate admissions to the college, the CUET UG exam acts as the major criterion for Deshbandhu College admission. On the other hand, for postgraduate admissions, the CUET PG exam is the major eligibility criterion. Once you appear for the CUET exam for UG/PG as applicable, the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) of Delhi University releases multiple seat allotment lists. If your name is mentioned in the list and you have been allotted a college, you either ‘accept’ the seat or skip it and try for another round.

Hope this clarifies your query! For any further clarifications, please feel free to contact our team!

Some of the other facilities available at the college include a canteen, medical room, web access centre, banking, auditorium, laboratories, as well as a parking area.

Dear student, if you are applying for B.Sc (Prog) Life Science course offered at Deshbandhu College New Delhi, then you must secure a minimum aggregate of 45% in PCB/Biotechnology along with either securing pass marks in one compulsory language or 40% aggregate at the qualifying level. However, your selection will be done on the basis of “Best of Three” aggregate score, i,e the marks secured by you in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology at the qualifying level. The same selection procedure will be carried out for admission in all the undergraduate degree programmes offered in the field of Applied Sciences and Sciences.
