Haldia Institute of Technology admission 2024 has started. JEE Main 2024 session 2 registration started on February 02, 2024 and will end on March 02, 2024. The exam for session 2 of JEE Main 2024 will be conducted from April 4 to April 15, 2024. JEE Main score card is required for admission to B.Tech. Similarly, for admission to M.Tech at Haldia Institute of Technology students need a valid scorecard of GATE. GATE 2024 answer key will be released on February 21, 2024. Haldia Institute of Technology is the first private institute in West Bengal to be accredited by the NAAC and approved by the AICTE. Graduation Marks

Haldia Institute of Technology offers a two-year M. Tech program in five fields. A two-year MBA program and a two-year MCA program are also available at the institute. Bachelor's degree in B.E/B. Tech is required for admission to the M. Tech program. Students who have completed a three-year graduation program or a BCA degree and studied Mathematics as a compulsory subject at the 10+2 or graduation level are eligible to apply to MCA. Entrance Exam Scores 

WBJEE is the entrance exam required for B. Tech courses. The candidate for B. Tech lateral entry is chosen based on their performance in the WBJEEB's WB JELET exam. M. Tech candidates are chosen by the WB PGET or GATE entrance examination. Graduates from any discipline are eligible for the MBA program, and candidates are chosen using the WB JEMAT. WB JECA is the accepted entrance exam for the MCA program.

Haldia Institute of Technology Counselling Process 2023

As Haldia Institute of Technology does not have direct admissions, aspiring candidates have to participate in the counselling processes for their entrance exam conducted by the respective authorities. 

WBJEE Counselling

> Students who are found qualified will be allowed to attend the counselling session. WBJEE counselling will take place online, with candidates selecting their preferred institutes and seats being assigned based on their WBJEE scores.

> To begin, aspirants must visit the official website of WBJEEB to register for the WBJEE counselling 2023. Candidates must ensure that all of the information provided is valid before submitting it, as it cannot be changed once it has been submitted. It should be remembered that there is only one registration period for all rounds of allotment.

> To register for WBJEE 2023 counselling, go to the WBJEE 2023 counselling registration page.

> Candidates must select "New Candidate Registration" from the drop-down menu. Candidates will have the option of registering through WBJEE, JEE Main, or both.

> Candidates who choose to register through WBJEE 2023 must provide their application number, roll number, name, and date of birth.

> Candidates for JEE Main 2023 must also submit their application number, roll number, name, and date of birth.

> The candidate can enter the details of both examinations if both channels have been selected. Then press the submit button.

PGET Counselling

> Those who pass the PGET Entrance Exam and are placed on the merit list are invited to participate in the group discussion/personal interview, which is followed by the counselling procedure. 

> During the counselling process, candidates will be able to select their preferred college for admission, in this case, the Haldia Institute of Technology. 

> The candidates on the initial merit list will first go through the counselling process. If there are still places available, students on the waiting list will be contacted.

WB JECA Counselling

> WBJEEB will compile a merit list based on the candidate's performance in the WBJECA entrance exam 2023.

> GMR will be the name and style of the rank (General Merit List).

> Only the GMR will be used for counselling, seat allocation, and admission (not on category marks). The category rankings are purely for the candidate's benefit.

> JECA tie-breaking criterion
