Hello Swati,

Haldia Law College offers a three year long LLB programme, admission to which is given based on the merit of the last qualifying examination and the marks obtained in a written test conducted by the college itself. Therefore, there is a set written test that has to be taken for admission. Along with this, you will also have to meet the eligibility criteria set by Haldia Law College for the LLB programme. You must be a graduate (10+2+3 pattern) from any discipline with 45% marks in the aggregate. If you are SC/ ST or OBC category, the percentage required for Haldia Law College admission is 40% and 42% respectively. The course duration is three years, that is six semesters.

Haldia Law College courses include a five-year BA LLB programme. This programme is offered in affliation with Vidyasagar University. So, the university designs and updates the syllabus and curriculum for BA LLB at Haldia Law College as per its regulations. The updated BA LLB syllabus has not been released yet. Dear student, Haldia Law College offers hostel accommodation separately for both male and female students. The hostel is provided by ICARE which is one of the parent bodies of the Haldia Law College. The hostel has rooms with cots, mattresses, reading tables and chairs. The Haldia Law College hostel fee is Rs 12,500 per year.
