Candidates who have passed the Class 12 exam of various boards and hold a valid JEE advanced score card are eligible for enrollment in IIT Bhilai B.Tech programmes.

The IIT Bhilai admission happens through a centralised counselling process that JoSAA conducts at the all-India level in which candidates are allowed to choose the institution and course of their choice. Then, admission is granted based on their rank in JEE advanced and seat availability in the institution.
For M.Sc, M.Tech, and PhD programmes, students are not required to follow any counselling process. Based on their ranks in entrance exams, candidates must fill out the IIT Bhilai application form.
