IIT Delhi B.Tech : Fees, Courses, Eligibility, Placement & Admission 2026

Overall: I completed my B.Tech at IIT Delhi from 2019 to 2023, and it was a life-changing experience. The academic environment is challenging but interesting, with top-notch faculty and a curriculum that exposes students to the harsh realities of the outside world. Placement was nearly 90–95%, with great offers and top companies like Google, Microsoft, and Qualcomm. Infrastructure was brand new—smart classes, state-of-the-art labs, and Wi-Fi 24/7. Hostels were cozy, with good mess food and excellent sports facilities. The campus encourages academic progress and growth as a person through tech fests, clubs, and research. In total, IIT Delhi was an excellent platform to build a strong foundation for my professional growth and personal development.

Placement: IIT Delhi placements are very good, particularly for B.Tech students. 90–95% of students get placed every year. The highest salary package is over ₹1 crore (offshore), and domestic packages are between ₹15–60 LPA. The average offer is between ₹20–25 LPA. Top recruiters are Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Qualcomm, Goldman Sachs, and Intel. A large number of students also receive good internships and PPOs in their pre-final year.

Infrastructure: IIT Delhi provides top-class infrastructure to B.Tech students. The institute is Wi-Fi enabled, and it has hip classrooms, hi-tech labs, and a 24/7 open central library. There are well-furnished research facilities in all departments. Hostels are hygienic, safe, with common rooms, laundry, and round-the-clock internet. Sport facilities are great on campus, with a gym, medical center, and several food courts and canteens.

Faculty: IIT Delhi has well-qualified, experienced, and research-oriented professors. Professors are amiable and cooperative and keep conducting open forums and project-based classes from time to time. They are majorly equipped with strong academic as well as industry experience and hence teach theoretical as well as application-based. The syllabus is maintained current with the latest technologies to industry-pick students. Education in general is of highest quality and mentally demanding.

Hostel: Hostels of IIT Delhi are student-oriented and well maintained. Rooms are well equipped with good Wi-Fi and daily cleaning. All hostels include common rooms, TVs, reading areas, indoor games, and laundry. Mess offers balanced, hygienic food, and other food items are offered by many canteens. Security is available 24/7, and the hostel environment as such is safe, lively, and motivating.

Overall: College is very awesome. If you want came IIT Delhi so you must be prepared , overall college is very awesome and here's professors are extremely unodinary, there is no any crime of ragging because all students come after passing jee mains and advanced

Placement: This year overall placements are very low . Because too much guys expect that they got much more money than these companies but.. it's not happened with them that's why placement rate is very low this year than others.

Infrastructure: Here's lecture hall are very awesome but there is a problem of uncomfortable chairs but... Still over all its better and it's very sequenced about their seats

Faculty: Our all proffersors are very awesome but physics professor are very cool because he explained any topic like a best explainer or like who wrote the theory

Overall: Experience of mine in this college was good.I've got some good friends some well.Qualified teachers who motivated us and helped us in each and every step

Placement: If I talk about placement facility given by this institute.I can say that it is very average.Not all the student got placed , only thirty to forty percent of the student got placed every year , which is very bad

Infrastructure: If I talk about infrastructure of our institute I can say that buildings were creatively made.It was restricted for outsiders to enter into the institute and yes playing area and libraries and cultural activities area over there

Faculty: Best part of this institute is that faculties who are working here are really well qualified.Well knowledgeable and headstudents and motivate students eating each and every step of their college life

Overall: The college is one of the best college in india and the among the best of iits . the college has excellent coding culture with good academics and really good placements offer.

Placement: The placement of the college is really good with average placements offer of 18 to 24 lpa and the highest offer stood at 2.35 cpa . many companies come to the campus for the placements process.

Infrastructure: The iit delhi has the huge campus area of around 325 acres which is surrounding by the kush green gardens and parks. The college is way too closer to popular monuments like qutub minar lotus temple.

Faculty: The college has one of the best faculties in india. They all have unique style of teaching which is really awesome. But The teachers are busy in there researches . if you go to them than they will help you.

Hostel: The iit delhi has one the best hostels with all the necessity provided to the students. The college provide ventilated room with basic room facilities. The mess food is just okay .

Overall: As you all know that iit delhi is amongst the best colleges in india and you are right about that. The infrastructure, surrounding, competition is top notch that it converts a boy to a responsible man.

Placement: You dont have to worry about the placements if you are in IIT DELHI as it provides the best placements as possible. From small companies to bery big big companies everyone visits here and take you in very good packages .

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is good as compared to other. The academic building, the hostels, the canteen, the playing ground and many other things are properly maintained.

Faculty: Everywhere faculty is considered to be bad and same goes here but i think its not the fault of any faculty , the student only dont want to try to study which makes faculty bad . So i will rate the faculties OK

Hostel: Everywhere hostel are worse but here its not the case , here the hostel are properly maintained with a fan, good ventilation, proper shelf, proper table and chair, bed and a cupboard. The washrooms are also nearby every room.

Overall: Nirf ranked 3rd Indian Institute of Technology stands magnificent in overall aspects in what a college should have, already the name iit is itself to tell about the legacy of it.

Placement: The college invites the recruiter for the IIT Delhi placement drive.The companies who want to participate in the recruiting at IIT Delhi must register with the institute.Filling out job notifications by recruiter-like profile and preferred skill set.Finalisation of JNF and shortlisting of students.The candidates will be invited for the test and interview process on campus.

Infrastructure: All the necessary facilities are provided, including Wi-Fi, computer labs, classrooms with AC, and a very big library. A huge campus a delhi provides you a great college life

Faculty: Being one of the finest colleges of the country, the teachers here are all well qualified and knowledgeable and most of them are always ready to help students

Hostel: The condition of hostel rooms are not good, but food quality in the canteen is very good and hygienic which can be eaten by anyone.Unhygienic washrooms, no canteen and less strength in the auditorium are some of the basic issues that faced by the students
