IIT Jammu BTech Cutoff 2026 (Expected)

IIT Jammu BTech cutoff 2026 will likely mirror 2025 trends with minor shifts. For the general category candidates, JEE Advanced ranks for the 2026 admission are likely to be between AIR 4,000 and 18,000. Computer Science and Engineering is likely to be the most competitive branch, with an expected closing rank of below AIR 6600. Civil Engineering and Materials Engineering may see higher closing ranks, moving beyond 16,000 due to comparatively lower demand. With the number of applicants increasing, overall cutoffs could tighten by 200 to 500 ranks. So, the candidates should factor in category-wise relaxations while planning their preferences.

  • Computer Science and Engineering expects closing rank at AIR 6,200 compared to AIR 5,988 in 2025.
  • Electrical Engineering may close at AIR 10,500 compared to AIR 9,759, as mid-tier branches attract more takers.
  • Chemical engineering appears to be easier to get into in 2026, with AIR 16,500 closing against AIR 16,284 last year.
  • Mechanical engineering holds at AIR 13,500, closing from AIR 14,453.
