IIT Madras Pravartak Technologies Foundation launched a new programme ‘Howzzat: Cricstats? Exploring the world of cricket analytics’ in collaboration with GITAA. GITAA is an IIT Madras incubated company. It provides training in AI, machine learning and data science. The course duration is eight months and interested candidates can apply for the same at digitalskills.pravartak.org.in. The programme is funded under the National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems by the central government through the Department of Science and Technology.
On August 14, 2023, IIT Madras launched a new certificate course on ‘Operations and Supply Chain Analytics for Strategic Decision Making’. The new IIT Madras course is offered through the ‘Centre for Outreach and Digital Education.’ The programme will help managers make critical decisions based on available information and data. There are a total of three modules. The application process for the new programme is currently ongoing. The last date to apply for the same is September 20, 2023.

IIT Kharagpur recorded a Domestic Highest Package of INR 1 Crore with top recruiters like Apple, Texas Instruments, Goldman Sachs, Uber, and Schlumberger. IIT Delhi is recorded to have offered the highest package of INR 1 Crore Per Annum at the domestic level, with more than 50 offers above INR 1 crore. Some of the top recruiters of the Top IITs in India are Microsoft, Google, Apple, Schlumberger, Qualcomm, Amazon, Flipkart, ISRO, American Express, Boston Consulting Group, Intel, etc.

IIT Madras Unveils Hybrid Rocket-Powered VTOL System, Paving Way for Next-Gen Air Mobility: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has reached a new level in the development and testing of a Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) system using hybrid rocket thrusters and virtual simulation technology. This is another innovation that enables drones and aircraft to take off and land vertically, eliminating the need for lengthy runways. It’s rather a huge step for India in terms of aerospace research and innovation.

This examination is scheduled to take place on May 9, 2026, and is one of the most crucial pathways for engineering students to gain entry into the country’s premier engineering colleges across the state of Karnataka. COMEDK will conduct the examination online in a computer-based mode. WBJEE Application Form 2026: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) is expected to release the application form for WBJEE 2026 in either the third or fourth week of January 2026.
