The JEE Main 2026 Session 1 admit card is likely to be released between January 18 and 19, 2026. Registered candidates will be able to download the hall ticket from the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in, by logging in with their credentials. The exam city intimation slip is expected to be issued in the first week of January 2026.
The Maharashtra CET Cell is expected to increase the MHT CET 2026 application fee by ₹150–₹250 for around 19 entrance exams. Earlier, the fee structure was ₹500–₹600 for offline tests and ₹800–₹1,000 for online exams. The registration process for MHT CET 2026 is likely to begin in the last week of December 2025.
The JEE Main 2026 exam date and allotted exam city are set to be released in the first week of January through the advanced city intimation slip on jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates can download the slip using their application number and password.
As per the regulations of the MAKAUT and A.I.C.T.E., an applicant aspiring admission in B.Tech Engineering Degree course, must have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination with minimum 45% marks in Physic, Chemistry & Mathematics from West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or any other equivalent Examination from a recognized Council/ Board are required to qualify either in the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WB-JEE) conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board or JEE (Main). Admissions are based on the recommendations made by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board. Lateral Entry of diploma holders and B.Sc. degree holders through JELET conducted by the WBJEE Board, in the 2nd year with an additional intake of 20% of the approved intake.
The candidate intending to take admission in any of the three year diploma courses should have passed 10th standard or equivalent Examination with English, Mathematics & Physical science/Science as subjects and acquired at least 35% marks (without additional subject and without rounding up) and JEXPO rank is mandatory. Also without JEXPO rank admission is possible through Management Quota; the candidate has to acquire at least 35% marks over all (without additional subject and without rounding up) & at least has to score 45% in Physic & Mathematics.
