NIFT Shillong Campus

The transit campus is located at the Old North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health & Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) Campus, Shillong. The campus is surrounded by hills and has a pollution free environment. The campus has a centre that provides career counseling sessions for entrepreneurship and self-employment. Classrooms and labs are a part of campus facility. Research labs have also been improvised for the students, and also they have access to resource center that has an excellent collection of books and magazines related to fashion.

Dear Student,

At NIFT Shillong, the Girls' hostel consists of a total of 82 rooms. The hostel is well-equipped with all furniture and fixtures and every student is provided with Wi-fi, hot/cold water facilities, Mess, 24 X 7 security arrangements with CCTV Surveillance, Laundry room. In addition, a Hostel Warden, Doctor and Counselor are also available to assist the hostelers. Hostel Accommodation is available only to regular students on the first-come-first-serve basis after payment of fees. The hostel fee for girl students at NIFT Shillong is around INR 43,000 to INR 46,000 per semester (subject to change).
