August 20, 2025Highly Paid Internship Opportunity for B. Tech Students - BRO Sponsored Project - NIT Meghalaya is offering a highly paid internship opportunity for B. Tech students (preferably in their 4th year) as part of a BRO-sponsored project titled 'Sensor Based Big Data Analysis for Prognostics and Health Management of RCC Bridges.' This internship involves working on sensor-based big data analytics for infrastructure health monitoring. Eligible candidates should have a strong interest in big data, sensor technology, and analytics, along with a good academic record. The stipend will be attractive as per project guidelines. The selection process will include an online interview for shortlisted candidates. Important dates include the last date to apply on 22 August 2025, with interviews scheduled for 26 August 2025 and a preferred joining date of 1 September 2025. Interested candidates can apply by completing the online application form and uploading their CV and a statement of purpose (max 300 words).
July 21, 2025Advertisement for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Recruitment - Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the position of a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in an ANRF-funded research project titled 'Organoselenium Catalysis for Asymmetric Olefin Functionalization'. The project is sponsored by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) and will be led by Dr. Harshit Joshi. The position is available for a duration of three years with an emolument of Rs. 37,000/- per month for the first two years and Rs. 42,000/- for the final year. Candidates must have an M.Sc. in Chemistry or equivalent with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST) and GATE/NET qualification. The age limit is 30 years with relaxation as per norms. Interested candidates should submit their applications via email by August 11, 2025.
