Hindu College Placement Cell

The college has separate societies and cells for placements and internships. The placement cell “Disha” conducts all pre-placement activities. Disha collaborates with reputed companies and invites them to participate in the Hindu College placement process. It conducts workshops, personality development sessions, skill development, and mock interview sessions to train students. Disha as a placement cell aims to make students industry-ready and confident individuals who can leave a mark behind wherever they go.

“Abhyas” is the internship cell of Hindu College. The cell acts as a mediator between students and industry recruiters. It was established in 2013 with the aim of building a link between professionals and students. Abhyas brings internship opportunities in various fields like business, corporate, media, professors, NGOs, and start-ups through the medium of internships, memberships and volunteer ships. Not just this, it also acts as a training body to polish students on academic and personality levels. Some of the top recruiters associated with Abhyas are NITI Aayog, OYO, NDTV, IDBI Federal, Zomato Feeding India, Outlook, CNBC, etc. The efforts of Disha and Abhyas together glorify the Hindu College Placement brochure with student achievements each year.

While the placement report for the 2022 session is yet to be officially released, we provide the details of the placement for the 2021 session so that students can get a fair idea. 

  • The highest Hindu College placement package for the 2021 session was Rs 29 lakh per annum.
  • The average package stood at Rs 8.4 lakh per annum.
  • The top recruiters for this session were Google, Deloitte, Maruti, Jaypee, E&Y, and KPMG.
  • For the 2020 session, the packages were relatively high with the highest package being Rs 31 lakh per annum. 
  • The placement reports suggest that the drop in the packages is due to the pandemic and the slowdown it brought to many industries.
  • However, there was a high of Rs 1 lakh in the average salary in 2021 since the average salary for 2020 stood at Rs 7.5 lakh per annum.
  • The placement cell “Disha” aims to achieve a 100% placement rate each year.
  • 22 students in 2021 were placed in big giants with successful packages.

Dear Student, Hindu College comes under the Delhi University colleges and as per the guidelines issued by the university, admission in Hindu College for all UG and PG courses is conducted based on CUET scores. Once the CUET results are announced, the college-wise cutoff is made available by the respective authorities for the students who have registered themselves on the CSAS portal. Candidates willing to get admission to the courses offered by the college have to qualify for both the CUET cutoff along with the Hindu College cut-off for their respective courses.
