DU Admission 2024

Delhi University (DU) admission for 2024 will be based on the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG). CUET UG Registration 2024 has been open since February 27, 2024. The application form deadline is March 26, 2024, and the CUET UG exam will be held from May 15–31, 2024. Candidates seeking admission to BA, B.Com, B.Sc programs, and honors courses must appear for the CUET exam.

Here are some other things to know about DU admission:

  • The application fee varies for each course.
  • The fee is calculated during the payment process.
  • All particulars must be carefully filled and verified, as no option for correction is available after fee payment.
  • For Unreserved category candidates, at least 50% marks or an equivalent grade point in the aggregate in the qualifying degree examination is required.
  • For OBC/CW/PwBD Category, at least 45% marks or an equivalent grade point in the aggregate in the qualifying degree examination is required.
Delhi University (DU) admission through CUET 2024 is divided into three phases: Phase 1 (application form submission), Phase 2 (programme selection and preference filling), and Phase 3 (seat allotment and admission). Please be aware that DU has also discontinued the DUJAT exam; admission to BBA, BMS, and BBE programmes is now solely based on the CUET. Candidates seeking admission to DU in 2024 must have completed 10+2 with at least 50% aggregate marks. Delhi University makes the selection through e-counselling based on CUET 2024 scores.

It is a well-known fact that a huge number of students apply for admission to top du colleges every year. However, the number of seats for each course offered at DU is limited and only a small section of the total applicants get admission to the various colleges of the university. This leads to the students who do not get selected being dismayed and disappointed. CollegeDekho comes to the rescue of these students and ensures getting them admitted to some of the leading colleges and universities in the country. These students can fill the Common Application Form (CAF) to talk to admission experts who will guide them throughout their admission process to find the best college for them. The counselors take into consideration the preferences of the student before narrowing down upon certain options.

Stay tuned to Collegedekho for more such updates!
