NIT Calicut placement season witnessed many new recruiters. More than 100 companies were a part of the NIT Calicut placement and many national and international companies visit the NIT Calicut campus for placements. The Department of Training and Placement is responsible for the placements at NITC. During the NITC placements, students are offered best pay packages and interesting job profiles by some of the world-leading MNCs and businesses. The NITC placement cell is responsible for organising training sessions before the beginning of the recruitment season. The placement cell at NITC also conducts regular career guidance and soft-skills sessions for the students. NITC witnesses a 100% placement record for both UG and PG courses. Many overseas companies from countries such as the U.S.A, Japan and Korea are a part of the NITC placements.

National Institute of Technology - NITprovides placement assistance to all its students. The dedicated placement cell regularly conducts grooming sessions of the students in areas like soft skills, interview facing skills, behavioral skills hereby making them industry-fit. In the recent years the college has witnessed some well known recruitment companies walking-in and being invited for campus placements.

  • Invitations are sent to corporate firms and R&D organizations along with the JOB NOTIFICATION FORM.
     
  • Corporate firms and R&D organizations may fill up the JOB NOTIFICATION FORM and e-mail/post to Professor, Training and Placement.
     
  • The JNF is made available to the students and the Department of Training and Placement propose a date for the PPT and the selection process.
     
  • Firms / organizations are expected to visit the campus on the date allotted to them and conducts the PPT. Interested students attends the PPT and resumes are made available to firms.
     
  • After that the firms conduct the selection process in the campus.
     
  • The firms visiting the campus are required to furnish the final list of students selected to the Professor, Training and Placement after the completion of the selection process. We register a job against the selected students and they may or may not be allowed to appear for other firms interviews as per placement policy.

Dear Student,

Your 12th PCM marks are good enough to make you eligible for admission to NIT Calicut. Moreover, scoring 93.88% in JEE Main is also a very good score and you have a higher chance of getting admission to the college. However, you will have to appear for JoSAA counselling as all the admission to NIT Calicut are done through the counselling process.

You can check JoSAA Counselling 2020 to know about the dates, procedure, seat allotment, and other details which will help you in the admission.
