Loyola College Scholarships 2024 - Details, Eligibility, Amount

For offerering Loyola College scholarships, the college initially identifies minority groups, first-class graduates, economically poor, orphans, semi-orphans and vulnerable students and helps them in the admission process to the college. It also identifies various management and government scholarships available for different categories of students like SC/ST, MBC, BC, differently-abled, FGL, and rural girls. The college management helps them in the process of applying for and receiving these scholarships and government benefits. Financial aid and administrative concessions in the form of scholarships by Loyola College are offered by identifying target students in the first semester and helping to reduce the burden of paying tuition fees.

Loyola College uses Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds from corporate sectors to help poor and vulnerable students and fulfilling their dreams. It monitors academic activities by tracking performance records for better supervision and guidance. The college coordinates the administration and assists deserving students with the mid-day meal programme, work with training and placement cell and helps students to get part-time jobs (on or off campus) and conduct regular workshops and organise seminars on Indian history and culture focusing on realities. 

Apply for Loyola College Management scholarships

Loyola College administration releases a notice with all the information about the management scholarship. Eligible students can apply by collecting an application fee of Rs 20 only. The completed application form for Loyola College scholarships must be submitted to the office on or before the deadline indicated on the notice board. No application gets accepted after the deadline.

Students who are economically poor and have improved their percentage of exam marks will be given more scholarships than last semester just to encourage them. The beneficiaries should regularly attend classes, and retreats (if possible), for enabling the teaching of English and other subjects and other orientation programmes organised for the minorities and poor people. 

Who are not eligible for Loyola College Scholarships? 

• Students with more than 2 arrears in the first year, more than 3 in the second year and more than 4 in the third year are not eligible as they do not meet the purpose of our management fee relief. 
• Anyone whose parents receive a state salary/pension is also not eligible for scholarships 
• Candidates who don't meet the required attendance criteria and do not attend special programmes organised for poor and minority students  
• If the application is incomplete without the consent or knowledge of the director of LSSS. 
• Students receiving scholarships from other agencies/organisations/NGOs. 
• Students whose parental income is higher than Rs 2 lakhs per year in shift I and Rs 3 lakhs per year in shift II.
