NIT Rourkela Scholarships 2023-24: Details, Eligibility, Amount

NIT Rourkela supports students of higher learning with financial aids. Fellowships/Assistantships are available to meritorious PDF, Ph.D. and M.Tech (Res) students of all departments, the rate of which is given in the following table:

A number of scholarships are offered by different companies for meritorious students at undergraduate level. Those include:

• PMS (Post- Matric Scholarships) (for SC-ST students) given by Orissa Government.
• TCS (Top Class Scholarships) (All students) given by Tata Consultancy Services.
• Merit Scholarships (Govt. of odisha)( All students).
• NTS (National Talent Scholarship) (GoI).
• TCS scholarship for CSE students.
• Indian Oil Scholarship.
• ONGC scholarship .
• Balmerlawrie and co. ltd.
• OP Jindal Engineering and Management Scholarship (OPJEMS).

NIT Rourkela does not offer any scholarship schemes but the institute offers some financial aid for students. NIT Rourkela offers financial aid worth Rs.8000 to M.Tech residential students and also financial aid ranging from Rs.16000-Rs.20000 for PhD students. The financial aid by NIT Rourkela is only offered to needy students on merit-cum-means basis.
