NIT Calicut Scholarships 2023-24: Details, Eligibility, Amount

NIT Calicut scholarships are available for meritious students and for candidates who are unable to support their education due to financial restraints. NIT Calicut offers Merit-cum-means scholarships to eligible students. The objective of the NIT Calicut merit-cum-means scholarship is to provide financial assistance to the poor and meritorious students from backward communities who are unable to pursue their higher education due to financial constraints. Candidates can apply for the NIT Calicut merit-cum-means scholarship through NSP Portal and it is mandatory to submit the income certificate as proof. Eligibility

• The family income should not be more than Rs 2.5 lakhs
• Candidate should have at least 50% marks.

Benefits

• The day scholar will get financial assistance of Rs25,000  per annum through NITC merit-cum-means scholarship whereas a hostelier will get Rs 30,000 per annum.
