Thapar University Placements 2023 - Average & Highest Package, Percentage

Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology placement report 2023 has been released (till July 15). A total of 334 companies participated in the placement drive and made 1884 job offers. Out of 1884 offers, 1664 were single offers and 110 were multiple offers. During Thapar University placements 2023, as many as 1774 students got placed. Thapar University highest package offered to UG students in 2023 was Rs 55.75 LPA. The average package offered was Rs 11,90 LPA (UG courses). Some of the prominent recruiters of Thapar University are Zomato, Microsoft, Samsung, Infosys etc. 

• The total number of students placed in 2023 increased to 1774 from 1604 in 2022. This is an increase of 10%. 
• The university witnessed a 15% growth in the highest package offered to UG students. The highest package in 2022 was Rs 40 LPA and in 2023 it increased to Rs 55.75 LPA. 
• The multiple offers made in 2022 was 263. A massive dip of 58% was seen in 2023 as multiple job offers made in 2023 was 110. 
• Thapar University achieved an increase of 24% in single job offers. In 2022, the single offer made was 1341 which increased to 1664 in 2023. 
• There has been an increase in the average package for UG students. The average package in 2022 was Rs 11.03 LPA and in 2023 it surged to Rs 11.90 LPA. 

As per the Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology placement report 2023, a total of 1774 students got placed in reputed companies with handsome packages. The total job offers made in 2023 was 1884. 

During Thapar University placements 2023, the highest package offered to UG students was Rs 55.75 LPA. There has been around 15% increase in the highest package offered in 2023. In the year 2022, Thapar University highest package offered was Rs 40 LPA for UG courses. 

Thapar University average package offered to UG students in 2023 was Rs 11.90 LPA. Whereas, in the year 2022 the average package offered was Rs 11.03 LPA. The average package offered to BTech students in 2022 was Rs 10 LPA and to MTech and MBA students was Rs 8.10 LPA and Rs 6.50 LPA respectively. 

The university has an active placement cell that acts as an interface between students and corporations. The university has tie ups with Pepsico India Holdings Private Ltd, National Aluminum company Limited (NALCO), Mahindra Agribusiness etc.
