The name of TNU's Vice-Chancellor has been listed in a book of ISES 'The Century of Solar Stories and Visions'. The basic research concept in the field of Solar Energy that Prof. Biswajit worked on was 'The Sun in the Service of Mankind', and the key research area was CdTe Thin Film Solar Cells. He has more than 42 years of research experience in Teaching & Research in the field of Solar Photovoltaic.

GATE 2026 Cutoff for GFTI: The GATE cutoff 2026 for GFTI is the minimum mark that students must score in the GATE exam to secure admission into the MTech programmes at the GFTIs. The GATE cutoff for GFTI will be released by the respective GFTI on its official website. Generally, the GFTI cutoff scores range from 350-800, 320-500, and 250-400 marks for the general, OBC, and SC/ST categories, respectively.

B.Sc Agriculture in The Neotia University is a 4 year course and the university does provide hostel facilities to both male and students. The Neotia University has separate housing for male and female students. There are 3 boy’s hostels, each accommodating more than 1,000 students, and 1 girl’s hostel with a capacity of over 550 students. In addition to the student body, over 40 faculty members and 50 technical staff live on campus. To ensure the well-being of the students, each residential building has a dedicated warden and support staff. The wardens are responsible for managing student check-ins and check-outs, addressing emergencies and disciplinary issues, coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance teams, and promoting the overall welfare of the students. The entire campus is monitored around the clock by a professional security service, utilising modern technology such as CCTV cameras and communication systems.

Yes, The Neotia University offers a BCA course and the fee for this course is Rs 1.09 Lacs yearly. The course is offered for a duration of 3 years. Besides, the students can also explore 99 courses at Diploma, Certificate, PG, and UG levels. WBJEE counselling dates are yet to be confirmed by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board. The counselling is expected to start in August 2023 (tentative). WBJEE counselling will be conducted in three rounds. You will be eligible for The Neotia University Kolkata admissions to B.Tech programme, if you have qualified the WBJEE 2023 exam. Also, you have to qualify for The Neotia University Kolkata cut off 2023.
