Zakir Hussain College Delhi has been recognised as one of the oldest educational institutions in the country. The college has been in existence for almost 300 years, way before Delhi University was formed. Zakir Hussain College was known as Madrasa Ghaziuddin and was set up by one of the leading Deccan commanders at the time of Emperor Aurangzeb.
