Candidates aspiring to appear for GAT 2021 can now choose two papers from the available subject combinations. IIT Bombay will soon release the list of subject combinations.
GATE 2021 official exam date has been released, and the entrance exam is scheduled to be conducted on February 05, 06, 07, 12, 13 & 14. This year, many changes have been introduced in GATE. Two new papers viz., Humanities and Social Sciences and Environmental Science & Engineering are introduced in the entrance exam. This year, candidates will be allowed to choose two papers in the GATE examination. Candidates will have to pay a separate application fee for the second paper.
Not all the candidates applying for the GATE 2021 exam may have the chance to choose two papers. IIT Bombay will soon release the list of subject combinations for which two-paper option is available. Candidates will have to choose only those papers in GATE. The information brochure of GATE 2021 will be available soon, and the candidates can the subject combinations from the same.
For example, B.Tech Civil Engineering graduate will be allowed to choose not only Civil Engineering in GATE but as Environmental Engineering. The information regarding the same will be available on this page.
Candidates who are pursuing third-year B.Tech can also appear for GATE 2021 exam. This will help the candidates to improve his/ her performance in the exam in the subsequent year.
