NEET PG 2020 result was announced on 30th January 2020 and three transgender candidates have qualified the NEET PG exam. A total of 13 transgender candidates appeared in the exam this year.

NEET PG 2020 result was announced on 30th January 2020 and three transgender candidates have qualified the same. National Board of Examinations (NBE) conducts NEET PG. According to the reports, a total of 13 transgender candidates appeared in the exam.
A total of 160888 candidates appeared in the NEET PG 2020 and more than 50% of the qualifiers were from Tamil Nadu. The PG medical test was conducted at 542 centres across the globe
As compared to last year, the number of candidates qualifying the exam this year is more. The number of transgender candidates qualifying the NEET PG 2020 exam is also more which depicts that India is broadening its horizons and its social acceptance.
NEET PG 2020 exam was conducted for 1200 marks and the cutoff score this year for general category candidates is 366. For SC/ST the NEET PG cutoff is 319 and for PwD candidates the cutoff is 342.
NEET PG is conducted for admission to postgraduate diploma and postgraduate medical courses in the field of surgery and medicine. The scorecard for NEET PG 2020 is to be announced on 3rd February 2020. The undergraduate exam NEET UG which is conducted by NTA will take place on 3rd May 2020 and the submission of fee for the same has been reopened till 9th February 2020.
