TN Medical Committee will conduct MBBS Counselling in offline mode only to ensure transparency. The first round of TN MBBS Counselling will be held in the last week of October.

NEET 2020 exam was successfully conducted on 13th September 2020 and to ensure the transparency state government will conduct TN MBBS Counselling 2020 in offline mode only. According to the officials, in-person counselling is very important to ensure transparency.

Most likely NTA will announce the NEET 2020 Result by 12th October 2020 on its official website and for State Quota Counselling candidates will have to register at tnmedicalselectin.net. The application process will be conducted in online mode followed by the offline submission of the filled-in applications.

Tamil Nadu Medical Committee will release the Rank List in the third week of October. Dr. Naryana Babu, DME informed that admission to the PG medical courses in the state was conducted during the lockdown and that is online counselling was held. Whereas Tamil Nadu MBBS Counselling will be held in offline mode. With travel relaxation, it will be easier for the students to attend the counselling in offline mode. He further informed that the TN Medical Committee will take all precautionary measures and follow adequate social distancing during counselling to ensure the safety of the students and staff members.

For more than 4000 Tami Nadu State Quota and Medical Seats, the first round of counselling for the government and management quota seats will most likely take place in the last month of October. The schedule for TN MBBS Counselling will be released after the result. Most likely, the academic year for first-year MBBS students will begin from November.
