Infrastructure: Very nice laboratory. Lot of magazine and need type of modern books. Huge collection of lot of experiment and videos. Tie up with lot of other institutions in the world
Faculty: Can't express how greatful I am for the teachers. Their skill level can not be compared with others. They are the real gem, very helpful, innovative, friendly.
Hostel: Hostel of Jadavpur is famous for good and bad reason. Good tie up and disciplined life inside hostel. Lot of group studies. Ragging is the worst experience there.
Overall: Jadavpur University is one of the premier University in India located at Kolkata. The university has four faculties, namely Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Faculty of Science and Faculty of Interdisciplinary Schools, Law & Management. The last one started in 2013 after the successful functioning of a large number of interdisciplinary schools in the University, both in the areas of research and teaching

Hostel: Hostels: The university offers several hostels for both male and female students, providing accommodation with basic amenities. Sports Facilities: There are sports grounds and facilities for various games, promoting physical fitness and extracurricular activities.
Overall: Jadavpur University is a state runed public university which completes 4 year Bachelor of Engineering (10+ branches including CSE, IT, etc) with a course fee of Rs 9600 (Rs 2400/year) and the average package of the college is 10 Lakh per annum. It has NIRF ranking of 10 in Engineering category.
Placement: Current passing batch (2024) have overall placement percent of 97%, with 100 % placement in Mechanical, Civil, etc and companies which came here for placement are PWC, Gupshup, Accenture, JP Morgan Chase, etc
Infrastructure: Jadavpur University have engineering, arts and some specializations courses and each department has it's own building. Being a state runed university it lacks funds, results in poor maintenance of lab and research instruments. Building are so old, proper maintenance is required. The classrooms are well furnished but there is no A.C(Air Conditioner), so it is very difficult to do classes in Summer season as in Kolkata, the temperature is very during summer season.
Faculty: Our college faculty are very good and help students in every possible way. Most of our college faculties have done their higher studies from IIT, NIT, etc and many of them are listed in top 2 % scientist in the world (An annual report published by Stanford University)
Hostel: Our monthly hostel charges is just Rs25 per month and the mess fees of one month is Rs 2200-2500 per month, It being the cheapest hostel in entire India surpassing IIT, NIT and private institutions.
Overall: Overall the experience of jadavpur university is awesome. The best ROI in India.A good placement record almost 100% placement. Good professors. Locality is cheap and gives good vibes. Campus is also lush and green. We have all clubs and societies. Annual fests are organised in JU like Sanskriti, Srijan , Ibdita .. many small technical and cultural fests are also organised by various clubs. Everything adds to he college life which gives a great experience and joy with good friends.
Placement: Almost everyone here get placed, yeah the pay may be lesser. Even the lower branches get 100% placement in JU. For CSE the average package lies somewhere between 18-20lpa. companies like Samsung,Google, Microsoft, pwc, Goldman Sachs, Well Fargo etc. visit for placement.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Jadavpur University lacks behind other colleges. It's a state govt. university so the buildings are quite old. Few classrooms have ACs while a few doesn't. Washroom needs serious improvements. Rest other things are good . When everything else is good the infrastructure is merely looked at.
Faculty: The faculty of JU is highly appreciable. Almost all of them hold a foreign degree with many no of research paper published. attending their class feels really good except a few who are quite boring. Professors are stuck to the old & traditional way of teaching..it would be better if some placement stuffs are incorporated in the curriculum.
Hostel: The hostel is limited and so it's only available for students with low family income. 1st year students stay in a separate hostel. All the basic amenities are provided in the hostel. The fees is very minimal which is Rs 25 for room + electricity and mess charges are like 2000 for 2 times meals a day . General the hostel are 3/4 sharing. They provide beds , almirahs , fans and mirror.
Placement: Provides largest amount in return compare to its high placement statistics and low college fees. Top companies like amazon , samsung, well fargo are among regular recruiter from this campus. Average package of CSE , IT , ETCE are above 20lpa. Core placements are also fabulous for last few years , attracting the core companies like Airbus , Siemens, Reliance Industries etc.
Faculty: Known for its highly qualified faculty. Some are among top 2 percent scientists. Innovation, research and Technology are the key identify of it. Acadmic structure is in some department quite back dated, but most of the cases , it is very good. Faculties are helpful and you can approach them anytime, easily.
Infrastructure: Known for its old history. Buildings are quite old , but new infrastructure are made. Labs equipment are quite old, and work rough and somehow. Need of upgrading it. Classrooms are modernizing.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are good, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good. All faculty members are very talented. They are experts in their major subjects.
Hostel: The residential student hostels are state-of-the-art as well as gender-segregated. All rooms have basic in-built utilities and are designed as a comfortable independent unit. Each hostel is fitted with water coolers fitted with RO and purifiers, a pantry on the ground floor, microwave ovens, and other facilities. All rooms and washrooms are well-fitted
Overall: The college is good in environment and good faculty and friendly faculty with good educational support with all extra curricular activity performed in the college
Placement: The placement cell in college make hard efforts in order to make sure 100% placements with the best companies & packages offered to the students. It is a very good college as far as your placements are concerned.
Infrastructure: University has provided its students with well stocked libraries, well mantained infrastructurs, big classrooms, big campus, friendly environemts, and above all of these best team of faculties.
Faculty: Faculties as well as teaching staff of the university are well qulified and they have many years experienced. Thier teaching method is nice and easy to understands. They always ready to solve students quiry and doubts about any topics.
Hostel: There are separate hostels for male and female students.Rooms are typically alloted on shared basis.Single room may also be available particularly for research scholars and final-year students.Laundry facilities are also available.
Overall: I like this college It is an excellent college, and I recommend joining it Our college provides great placements and faculty members are highly qualified and helpful It has a good campus and a good atmosphere
Placement: The placement record of this college has been very good over the past few years, compared to other colleges Ninety three percent of the students were placed in various companies across the. Industry the employers are also very happy with this college due to the great depth of dominant knowledge the student grasp under the mentorship of the faculty

Hostel: Hostels are very big sports is available in our hostel area. Medical room is available separately Rooms are big and airy so that there is no problem at the time of summer in hostel
Overall: Our college supports each and every students in thier studies as well as in placements driven by our college. all the amenties is available for the students.
Placement: placement cell of the college doing great job. They always try to placed all their studnts in top-notch companies at higher salary package. Many top-notch companies came to hire studens.
Infrastructure: Labs and libraries are present with lab tools and well-stocked books. Wi-Fi facility is available in labs and libraries. roomes are big and clean, library is good, canteen and food of canteen is also good
Faculty: The faculty members in our college are not only supportive and friendly but also highly knowledgeable. They employ simple teaching methods to ensure students grasp concepts easily.
Hostel: They provide separate Hostel Accommodation for Boys and Girls. The hostel rooms are spacious, well furnished and ventilated with the provision of inbuilt mineral water plant and solar panel heater that provide round the clock fresh purified drinking water to all its inmates.
