DU SOL Fees Structure & Courses List 2024-25

The School of Open Learning offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in an online mode. All the courses offered by the school are approved by the UGC. DU SOL has 15 Departments through which it offers popular courses like BA, B.Com, MA, M.Com, etc. in multiple specializations. The admission criteria for all courses are merit-based. Moreover, the DU SOL fee payment is also accepted in online mode.  The study material for all courses is provided to students by mail. Apart from this, a Personal Contact Programme is also available at various study centres of the school. The detailed list of the courses offered at SOL along with the fees is mentioned below.

Note: The DU SOL fees structure is divided into four categories as listed below:

1. Category A- Students who are currently residents in India.
2. Category B- International students who get mail through the diplomatic bag c/o the Ministry of External Affairs
3. Category C- Indian students living abroad and foreign nationals seeking admission through the University of Delhi's Deputy Dean, Foreign Students.
4. Category D- Candidate belonging to PWBD.

• The DU SOL fees for B.Com range from Rs 3,840 to Rs 12,840 depending on the category. 
• The fees for MBA range from Rs 4,640 to Rs 12,840 as per the category. 
• The fees for M.Com vary from Rs 4,640 to Rs 13,640 as per the category. 
• The fees for MA Hindi range from Rs 4,640 to Rs 13,640 as per the category. 
• For MA History, the fee falls between the range Rs 4,490 to Rs 13,490.
• The DU SOL fees BA range from Rs 3,840 to Rs 12,840 depending on the category of students. 
• The MA Political Science fees range from Rs 3,840 to Rs 12,840 depending on the category. 

DU SOL Popular Courses and Details

The DU SOL course admissions are offered in a variety of specializations. The various details about the popular UG and PG courses of the school are mentioned below. 

BA

BA is one of the most popular UG courses offered by the SOL. It is offered as BA (Programme) as well as BA (Hons). The DU SOL fees BA range from Rs 3,840 to Rs 12,840 depending on the category of students. The course is offered in specialisations like Economics, Nutrition and Health Education, English, Hindi, History, Mathematics, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Tamil, Urdu, Environmental Studies, and, Education. The course is recognised by UGC.

MA

MA is one of the most popular courses on the DU SOL courses list PG. It is offered in specialisations like Hindi, History, Political Science, and, Sanskrit. Admission to the courses is based on merit. The course fees range from Rs 4,490 to Rs 13,490 depending on the category of the candidates. 

B.Com

B.Com and B.Com (Hons) at DU SOL are offered by the Department of Commerce of the school. It is an undergraduate course which is approved by the UGC. The DU SOL course material for B.Com is sent to candidates through mail. The course fees for B.Com fall between Rs 3,840 to Rs 12,840. 

MBA

The Master in Business Administration (MBA) course is offered at the PG level by the Department of Commerce of the school. The MBA course is a popular choice for commerce graduates among the DU SOL courses after graduation. The course is offered under UGC and the fees range from Rs 4,640 to Rs 12,840 as per the category of the students. 

DU SOL Fee Payment Guidelines

The School of Open Learning of Delhi University accepts fee payment for all the UG and PG courses through online modes only. Candidates can pay the fees through the official fee payment portal which is available on the site sol.du.ac.in under the ‘Fee Payment’ section. Candidates can log in by entering their email address and password and thereafter pay the fees. Ensure to download the DU SOL fee receipt once the fee payment is complete. 

Note: The fee structure for all courses is divided into 4 categories, namely, A, B, C, and, D. candidates must make sure that they pay the amount as per the category in which they fall.
