Odisha 10th Grading System 2024 consists of a total of eight grades ranging from A1 to F. Students who achieve more than 540 marks out of the total 600 will be provided with an A1 grade.

Odisha 10th Grading System 2024 is set by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha. It is an eight-point scale that includes grades from ‘A1’ To ‘F’. Students scoring between 90% to 100% marks will be awarded an “A1" grade, which is the highest grade. The students who score 33% or below marks will be provided with an “F” grade. This denotes the students will have to re-appear for the exam. Students must score at least 33% marks to pass the exam. The Board has decided to give marks in each subject and the total marks secured by a student in all the subjects will be calculated. Then, the grades would be awarded on the aggregate score of a student.

20 marks are provided for internal assessments according to the Odisha BSE curriculum 2024. The following grading system will be followed to grade the students based on the marks that they achieved in the internal assessment:

Odisha 10th Passing Marks 2024

According to the Board of Secondary Education Odisha, students are required to obtain a minimum number of marks to be declared as “Passed” in the board exam. Check the passing marks here:

  • Students are required to score 33% marks in every subject included in the curriculum to be declared as a “Pass”
  • Students who fail to achieve the minimum passing marks in the board exams will be required to appear for the compartment exams.

Odisha 10th Result Revaluation Process 2024

Since the Odisha Board introduced this new Odisha 10th Grading System, it also initiated the process of revaluation that same year. According to this scheme, if a student is not satisfied with their result, he/she can apply for the revaluation process. Students must make sure that they apply for the Revaluation process within 7 days of the Odisha HSC result declaration, as this is the timeline prescribed by the Board. The students also need to pay a fee of ₹700 to avail of the services of revaluation of the result. If the revaluation accounts for an increment of more than six marks, action will be taken against the evaluators. 

Odisha 10th Compartment Exams 2024

Despite securing 33% marks in the aggregate result, if a student fails to secure the minimum marks required to clear a subject i.e. 33% in one or more subjects will be allowed to provide the Odisha 10th Compartment Exams 2024 in the failed subjects. A student can avail of a maximum of 3 consecutive chances to take the Odisha 10th Compartmental Exams 2024. The student can avail of this benefit to improve their scores and claim the Odisha HSC passing certificate. The board will announce theOdisha 10th Compartment Exam 2024in May 2024. It will be conducted in July 2024. The exam will be administered using the same syllabus as the main exam. Any notifications about the supplementary will be published on the official website by BSE Odisha.
