Odisha 10th, 12th Board 2024: The Board of Secondary Education Odisha (BSE) is an autonomous body under the Government of Odisha that conducts exams at the junior and secondary levels. The primary function of BSE Odisha is to provide affiliation to the schools of the state. The board prescribes the academic curriculum for the 09th to12th standards. The Odisha board finalizes the exam pattern and marking scheme for exams. BSE Class 10th exams are expected to be conducted from March 10 to March 17, 2024. Odisha Board Syllabus 2024

The Board of Secondary Education, Odisha, uploads the syllabus for classes 10th and 12th on its official website in pdf format. Odisha Board Exam Pattern 2024

After Covid-19, the Odisha Board decided to follow the conventional exam pattern. For classes 10th and 12th, the board has decided to conduct final exams at the end of the academic year in March - April 2024. The assessment will be done in two parts: Theory exams and Practical exams. Theory exams will be conducted with 80 marks for class 10th and 70 marks for class 12th. The practical exams will be 20 and 30 marks for classes 10th and 12th, respectively. The question paper of the theory exam will be divided into three sections, where the first section will include competency-based questions, the second section will consist of short answer type questions, and the third will have long answer type questions.

The students must score more than 33% out of 600 marks to successfully pass the board exams. However, the official mark sheet will be provided to the students a few weeks after the declaration of the result.
