The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) is the administering body responsible for conducting the state-level entrance examination every year. The Board also releases the exam results and conducts an online counselling process based on the marks obtained by candidates for final admission to Polytechnic (Engg - PE) / Para Medical (Matric Level - PMM) / Para Medical (Intermediate level - PM) courses offered in the various Polytechnic colleges in Bihar.  

Given below are some of the major highlights for the DCECE 2024 exam -

Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board has released the DCECE 2024 dates along with the official notification. We have updated the DCECE 2024 exam dates along with other related events in the table below.

Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) released the DCECE 2024 application form on April 12, 2024. The last date to fill out the application form after an extension is May 21, 2024. Candidates can check the detailed DCECE 2024 registration process given below.

Step 1: Fill out the Registration Form

Visit the DCECE official website at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in and click on the registration link. Provide a valid email address and phone number. 
After registering for the test, applicants will get an activation code at their registered email address or phone number. To successfully log in to the account, aspirants must input the code and click the 'Submit' button.

Step 2: Enter Personal Details

Aspirants must accurately add personal information such as their name, gender, Aadhar Card number, date of birth, and other things.

Step 3: Upload Documents

Candidate must upload the required documents as per the specimen laid down by the authorities. 

Step 4: Provide Academic Details

After uploading the documents, candidate must input their educational information accurately and proceed to the next phase.

Step 5: Pay the Application Fee

Candidates must pay the DCECE application fee after accurately filling out all of their information. There are two methods for paying the application fee:

• Offline payment by e-challan must be made at a local bank

• Candidates will be able to pay the fees online by debit/credit card or internet banking

Step 7: Download and Print the Application Form

Finally, candidates must print out the DCECE 2024 application form (Parts A and B). Multiple copies of the completed application form should be printed because they will be needed at various stages of the admissions process.

DCECE 2024 Application Form Correction

The authorities will also provide the option of application form correction through which candidates can rectify the mistakes made in the form. Candidates can edit/modify application form details from May 24 to 26, 2024. They shall not be allowed to modify details in the application form once the correction window is closed. 

The DCECE 2024 admit card will be released at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in, on June 13, 2024. Registered candidates can access the DCECE admit card 2024 from the official website using their login credentials. The admit card of DCECE 2024 is an important document that candidates were mandated to carry to the exam centre along with photo ID proof. 

The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board released the Bihar DCECE exam pattern 2024 on its official website. The entrance exam will be conducted offline (pen and paper). The duration of the DCECE 2024 exam will be 2 hours 15 minutes. There will be a total of 90 questions asked in the DCECE 2024 exam. All the questions asked in DCECE 2024 will be objective and the mode of language will be Hindi and English.

The candidates will be handed OMR sheets to write their responses. The Bihar DCECE exam pattern for all courses - PE/PM/PMM have been provided below -

DCECE syllabus 2024 contains and covers subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, English, Hindi, General Knowledge, and General Science. The DCECE entrance exam is set up to facilitate admissions into several courses such as Para Medical (PM), Para Medical Dental (PMD), Part-Time Polytechnic Engineering (PPE), and Polytechnic Engineering (PE) provided by various polytechnic colleges and institutes in Bihar. Following are the preparation tips that are required to be followed by the candidates for scoring well in DCECE 2024:

• Candidates must be familiar with the exam pattern of  DCECE 2024 so that they can understand the weightage of questions, the duration of the exam, question paper pattern, types of questions asked, marking scheme of the exam, etc
• Along with the exam pattern, candidates should be familiar with the DCECE 2024 syllabus to prepare well for the exam. Knowing the syllabus of  DCECE 2024 helps candidates to figure out the topics that they will have to learn throughout the preparation period
• Preparation of a timetable is required to be made by all the candidates preparing for DCECE 2024. When candidates follow a timetable, all the topics are covered. A timetable is needed to be made in such a way that all the topics in the syllabus are covered. This will help the candidates to complete the syllabus in the stipulated time period
• Preparing through the best books of DCECE 2024. Textbooks play a significant role in the preparation of the candidate. Preparing from the NCERT books of classes 11 and 12 is recommended at the initial stage of preparation. After that, candidates can refer to a number of other reference books such as BCECE Explorer by MTG available in the market as well as online sites
• Practicing the previous year's question papers of DCECE 2024 is highly recommended. Candidates will be able to trace the questions that are repeated as well as the most important topics asked in the exam. Moreover, candidates are also given ideas about the question paper pattern. Skills such as time management are also enhanced, which is the key skill needed to crack DCECE 2024
• Besides the previous year's question papers, candidates should also practice the mock tests and the sample papers. These will help the candidate to excel in the time management skill thereby they will be able to finish the question paper on time with accuracy
• Besides all the effective preparation, candidates should also maintain a healthy lifestyle. They should exercise daily, and eat healthily. Spending time on hobbies, and listening to music is said to release all the stress. Sleep for at least 8 hours a day is recommended to the candidates. 

Bihar DCECE Result 2024 will be released in the form of a rank card on the official website of BCECEB at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in. Candidates will be able to access the result by using their Bihar DCECE registration number and date of birth information. The Diploma Certificate Entrance Competitive Examination (DCECE) result will include essential information like candidate's name, roll number, candidate's rank, total marks secured, marks secured in the paper, etc. 

DCECE 2024 counselling registration and choice filling will commence after the declaration of the result. The counselling process will be held in online mode. The DCECE counselling 2024 includes registration, choice filling, seat allotment, document verification, etc. Candidates who passed the DCECE 2024 exam are eligible to participate in the counselling process. Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECE) is responsible for conducting the Bihar DCECE 2024 counselling. Through the counselling, the qualified candidates will be provided admission to full-time & part-time Polytechnic courses in Bihar Polytechnic colleges.
